cucumbers lightly dusted in LMNT watermelon packet is like a salted watermelon slice. Which was how we ate watermelon growing up. Yum.

I don't do Keto, I just come here to watch your videos because you two are just too cute and entertaining. 😄

I live on air fryer sausage balls. A tube of Jimmy Dean's, maybe 2 tbs alnond flour, an egg, a cup or more of shredded cheddar. Season or not. Mix up, i use a melon baller to make balls and air fry about 14 munutes. I eat cold or hot for days, then make more.

I'm in the UK and I used Edam slices for the ravioli and it worked out great 👍

I don’t stay in ketosis anymore but I still adhere to the approved food list. I also go off plan every once in a while. I eat real watermelon and berries during the summer and sometimes pizza and cake at party. I’m doing well maintaining my weight. Trust me, you won’t gain tons of weight but it will knock you out of ketosis if that’s your goal. I also exercise and I think that helps. For the most part, I stay on plan 90% with 10% off. Great video!! Love you ladies! ❤

It was 10:30 pm when I saw the cucumber made to taste like watermelon hack. I got up and hunted for that last cucumber I thought I had. When I couldn’t find it, I grabbed a small Reese’s cup candy and trotted back to bed. Talk about lazy keto. I’m the worst. I love you girls you’re so cute.

We are relaxed Keto too. More or less low carb. Keeping the weight off and still having a special something on occasion . Long hall for sure.

For those of you that grow cucumbers in your gardens, the hybrid variety “Mercury” has a thin, non bitter skin, great crispy flesh and is slightly sweet. A perfect variety for the watermelon hack…I’m going to the greenhouse to pick some!

I saw the one where you added the instant potatoes, and it inspired me to experiment. I've been using radishes as a potato sub. I recently bit the bullet and bought some instant potatoes. I cooked radishes in the microwave, and threw them in the blender. A food processor would probably work better, but the blender was handy. I had to add some sour cream and melted butter to get enough substance and liquid to blend it up. It was nice and mooshy. I poured it back into the bowl I cooked them in, had to scrape out the blender with a silicone spatula. Stirred in enough instant potatoes, (sour cream and chive flavor) and back into the microwave just to heat through. Amazing! I could've served them as potatoes to the unknowing, and they wouldn't have known. (Would never sneak food to anyone, but I could have.) I split it into 4 servings. The next evening, I took one of the servings, added a little onion powder. Split it into 4 little balls, squashed them flat, about 1/4" thick, dipped them in lupin flour and fried them. They did stick a little, (cast iron skillet) and the crust wanted to peel off, but they were yummy. They really tasted like potatoes and onions. 1/4 cup of the instant potatoes is 20 net carbs. Split 4 ways it's 5. I know the radishes themselves, plus the sour cream, added some carbs. So I wouldn't eat these every day, but when the craving is upon me, I can have these. I'm still losing weight, so I didn't do myself any damage.

The major difference between provolone and mozzarella is that the former is aged, anywhere from a few months to a few years, whereas mozzarella is usually not aged for more than a few days maximum.. As a consequence provolone develops into a semi-hard cheese, whereas mozzarella is semi-soft. Provolone also has a slightly longer shelf life once opened. However, you are correct in them being similar cheeses as, apart from the aging process, they are both made using a similar process.

If you like salted watermelon, try my hack maybe. I peel and slice a cucumber and put it into an appropriately sized jar with LMNT Watermelon Salt and enough water to cover. Put in the fridge for a few hours! Yummy! Adjust water amount and “pickling “ time to suit your taste. 😘

You introduced me to chaffles and it is indeed life-changing! I haven't purchased a waffle iron (my partner made me promise i wouldn't buy another device). Anyway, i cook it on the pan and make them very flat and we now call them "cheese parathas" as they now replace naan/roti as we eat a lot of South Asian dishes.

I’ve been keto for over 7 years and lost over 100 pounds. I love your videos! Great recipes and you both are always entertaining!
  • @johnross8614
You have made me a believer in miracles. 😂 I said no way would the cucumber work. I eat cucumber slices every evening after dinner with guacamole so I already had slices and sprinkled some Splenda on one and a huge smile came across my face as I was eating watermelon 🍉. Thanks guys
  • @kylamason7752
I still use that chaffles recipe!! I tried using pork rinds instead of the almond flour. Believe it or not, no difference in taste!!
  • @rosalie99999
I have no video, but have a recipe for you ladies to try. I've seen some of your deep fry videos and wanted to share mine I used fish but works for chicken as well. I brush a thin coat of mayo on the fish or cutlet Then I grind up in the mini processor about 60/40 pork rinds and those parmesan cheese crisps and add about a spoonful of grated parmesan and dredge it and fry. It's comes out so crispy you really can't tell it's not a "real" coating. PS love you guys

I have been staying in the same 5 pound range for a year. Trying to keep carbs 0-5 a day backfired on me. Instead of losing, I started having binge junk food days 😳 I got so tired of plain proteins! Instead of actually losing new weight, I was only taking off the new binge weight. Watching you two helped me find your happy medium “Technically Keto” stopped the binge/carnivore cycle. I am enjoying your latest chaffles, cottage chips and other recipes AND now I am losing and and not tempted to binge! I do think I can do this forever! Thanks ❤
  • @RoninDosho
Like a few others I've noticed here, Keto per se, is not a lifestyle for me. That said, as a 73-year-old recumbent cyclist, who rides 80 to 100 miles per week, I find most of your videos useful for my food intake, and all of them entertaining. There are a couple of things, I'm going to try tomorrow and a few I need more ingredients for. I happen to have Sargento Provolone in the fridge, so tomorrow I'm definitely making ravioli with a mushroom and bacon filling. So thanks, I really enjoyed this one a lot!

Love your channel! The cottage cheese chips are my favorite thing! I make them in a silicone muffin tin, as suggested by one of your commenters. They have a little lip on them so they can be used as a carrier for other delights, like Palmetto Cheese. I bake them at 60% power for 7 minutes, then at full power for 2-3 minutes, adding 30 second intervals until browned to my liking. My microwave is a full-sized, full power unit. They even keep overnight in an airtight container.
