I listened to their music at school, it was difficult to get cassettes in Poland. Destiny has made such a spin that I live in Wirral, where OMD was founded and Andy McCluskey was born. When I listen to it, it is as if I was moved back in time

Back in the 80's. They had their own studio in Liverpool called The Gramophone Suite. They invited me to their studio one Sunday, while they were rehersing tracks from Architecture & Morality album. I had ambitions to work in recording studios, which didn't happen. Andy McCluskey was a top guy. Everything he was telling me went over my head 😁 I still have the letter he sent me with the invite. No texts in those days 😂.

Most underrated band ever. Every album (cd) was a gem.

80's was so nice. Great music, no race/political nonsense and great times. First stop in the time machine.
  • Saw them this past Saturday night in Minneapolis, pretty much the same show. I took my 18 year old son, who started listening to OMD at 6 years old while playing around with my desk top. I started listening back in the early 80's . This show was amazing! I WAS BLOWN AWAY by the power, energy, sound, quality, voices, instrumentation, and the overall show! THESE GUYS ARE NOT AGING!!!! It was by far the best show I have seen in years...maybe the best ever! Goosebumps all night...especially with my son there with me. COME BACK OMD!

Danke OMD

So so so disappointed that their NZ concert has been cancelled. I know it's because of this dam Covid... but I am devastated... I've always loved their music... and in the early 80's played a few of OMD's as covers. Long may they be a band... hopefully for this 62 year old... NZ sometime in the future

All classic OMD, no filler. I wasn't that familiar with 'History of Modern', but it's my new earworm.

Andy still has an awesome voice after all these years.Just stunning
  • OMD keeps getting better and better every year!!!! Long Live the 80s
  • Great pop group from the 80's. Written in the hearts of my generation for ever. Even after more then 30 years I only listen to the music of the 80's, the music of my teenager years.
  • Was at their gig in Glasgow on Monday night, wow what a show what a band. They blew us away, they love what they do.
  • I remember Seeing OMD In 86 In Portland Or. opening for Depeche Mode..Music for the Masses tour. I've been to 100s of different concerts since. But that show will always be near the top..
