Now that I've been there, I wholeheartedly agree with everything you mentioned. The people, the culture, the routes, and the food are next level and if you're like me, finding a place you can enjoy without checking your bank account every night is very pleasing. Ive travelled to 13 Mexican states, alone, via motorbike over the last 8 years and have never, ever had anything but positive experiences. Countless times I've stopped for fuel and get invited to someones home for dinner and end up spending the night. wonderful, amazing people.

Great Video! We are in Cozumel, Mexico right now cycling around the Island on a car-free cycling path. Dead flat buy enjoyable. We find the people, culture and food fantastic. Through your content we have decided to try Bucerias next year for more varied terrain and a different experience!

I'm now riding on wider Trek pro gravel wheels, with 700-32 Continental's on my 2019 Domane. The bike rides well in Ensenada, Baja California. I've also ridden the cobles in Europe. My bike is especially sweet with the new rims, very safe, strong, and actually very fast. I am 76 and am continuing to enjoy the cycling life here in Mexico, San Diego, and Santa Barbara and back to Europe at some point.

Great video, as always Phil. The only thing I worry about riding in Mexico are the dogs (I'm only 30 miles from the border and when I'm in Mexico I generally see loose dogs all over the place).

I take it you've adapted to the natural microorganisms in local Mexican food. My wife and I were careful about the water when we travelled to Puerta Vallarta, but we still both got traveler's diarrhea mid-trip. It was bad.
