To be honest... the wheel companies actually don't even make very much money. They're all just above the black... that's why the wheels are so expensive. Their costs for manufacturers, employees, constant new designs, better tech... is very very costly. These companies really need to slow it the heck down and just hone in on what they already have... slow it down. They're digging themselves a hole

Are there any probability of seeing the wheel with a built-in car charging port? It would be so awesome to get rid from the charger inside the backpack.... j1772 or simmilar... park your wheel, connect car charging cable and that is it. Can integrated j1772 become the reallity? The 20amp charger is around $500 anyway. So, additional cost for the integrated j1772 will not scare potential customer. US wall outlet: around 1500w J1772: around 6500w Sherman L at 20a: around 3000w

I still main an 18XL - and yes, I would literally buy a replacement with all of the features you mentioned, and recommend it to others.
  • @CS-se2sy
Wasn't there an inmotion v18 in their announcement sheet? I saw mass production scheduled for July, any news on that?
  • @s0d4c4n
Are S18s, V10s and V12s not selling well anymore? They seem like the only actually practical wheels but new releases are either 90mph suicide rockets or 5" clown unicycles
  • @soonny002
I'd be rich if I get a dollar each time Adam touches his hair. Lol! Jokes aside, this is a great rundown. :) We're all suffering from decision paralysis from all these choices!
  • @TheDownloader86
I am so excited about the Blitz. Finally light, powerfull quite cheap wheel with the 2400Wh battery. And you forgot about the IP67 rating! The battery sag will be no issue at all since it has 50S cells...
  • @SkylerLinux
Yes I would love those Inmotion Wheel upgrades. Would buy so hard
  • @misubisu
It's an insane choice these days if you want to get a new wheel. Thanks to people like you giving these run-downs, the pain is lessened... but it's still a tough choice. I've thought about buying several wheels only to change my mind after seeing one of your 1,000 + km reviews/teardown. Love your work Adam 🥰

If I cannot lift it with one hand, it's a no go.

Is the King Song s18 molicel version a good euc to buy in 2024? Or is there a better option around $2k CAD.? Also, is the s16 pro worth $800 more than the s18?
  • @ThomiX0.0
Good report Adam, thanks. I am very happy about you never forget the beginners and their options. We all had to start once, and didn't like to buy new wheels every 6 months as a probability. I just started with a KS S19pro, because after the first experience did not need to swap to soon (and might keep it for regular use in the future) Hammering on those companies, considering the weight, is one of the best choices to make, as it finally prevents us from ruining our knee joints in the long term. You've made us curious about your next work...:-)
  • The trends that I like in these wheels: - Clear flat sides to attach pads onto. - More safety systems - Lighter weight Trends I dislike: - Hiking prices - Companies copying each other instead of just doing their own thing.

I'm most excited for the Begode Blitz. I hope you will review it. It's impressive how they made it so light. The Sherman L may be the safest EUC ever made. I think you should take a closer look at some of the cutting edge safety features of this wheel. Breaking news: Cheaperkim has just released the Commander L. The F22 looks less fragile than recent Kingsong wheels. I wonder how much it weighs. I just bought an Inmotion E20 for my kids to ride. It was only 350 USD. I believe it does come with a trolley handle now.
  • @ChrisH0Y
I swear, EUCs are like computers. You get the latest and the greatest - Best processor, Best GPU, Liquid Cooled, RGB throughout, latest upgrades to all the programs, new OS , the ultimate sweet gaming build - and then a few months later, a new version comes out that's 5 times better. If anything, the release of all these new wheels will teach me to enjoy what I have, care of it, go out and ride and have a good time.

About Inmotion. I am 63yo and bought my first wheel last fall, And it was V13. No troubles learning contrary to everyone's advice (obviously I am not anywhere near as good as yourself but I am comfortable). Granted I am a heavy guy at 96 kilos and very little fat. So I had no problems with the wheel weight. Since last fall I've put 8000km on it and I loved it except the range. No problems with the wheel at all except developing some creaking. I would've serviced it but I since tested Lynx and bought it because it is still big and has way better suspension and range despite smaller battery. So from Inmotion I want V13 with Sherman L range, suspension and weight. But keep the form factor. That would be pretty exciting for me.
  • 9/10 Excitement for the Wrong Wheel! collaboration with Begode. The description seems to be a much more practical for the average user.
