Olympic Climbing 2024 Day 4: Women's Lead Semi-Final

The women's Lead round completed the women's semi-final today in Le Bourget. Team GB's Erin McNeice qualified for the Olympic final in 7th place after a composed Lead performance, placing 10th in Boulder and 7th in Lead, ending on a Combined score of 123.7/200 points. Molly Thompson-Smith finished 9th in the Lead round, adding valuable points to her Boulder score and finishing 19th overall.

  • It’s bad I was hoping for people to fall when I knew Erin could get pushed out 😅 I’m sad for miho she was so great but I was undoubtedly slightly happy she fell and was lower down to confirm Erin was through. The cut off being 8 definitely put so much pressure on all the climbers
