Jocko is like a role playing character who has all attributes maxed out.
-
Jocko Willink could talk about a scene full of rainbows, unicorns, and cotton candy and still make it sound hardass and tactical.
-
Man has a voice like a lightning strike when goes for emphasis. Always good to see his passion for stuff, you feel it.
-
This guy is the physical manifestation of competency.
-
Jocko is a great leader. Allows for those in positions below him to question him at all times if it will save lives.
-
This speech needs to be heard in every home workplace and school in America.
-
Ask questions! Always. That works in every situation. Thanks Jocko!
-
He said “I don’t need a mic”

Most brass don’t have a clue what’s going on as they sit behind a desk . My uncle and his platoon were dropped off in Danang Vietnam without ammo , how does that happen ?
-
bro can we get a whole video of this speech? It was getting so good and it just cuts off after 5 mins?
-
Awesome leadership 👏
-
What a leader a kick ass leader I love that guy❤️🙏🇺🇸
-
Its a huge change shifting from being a student listening in classroom to leading in the field. Huge. Like retiring from career as student and starting new career as leader (and warrior) -- while still learning from doing.
-
When you check back to see if there's any new videos on the channel and you end up having to watch the last one again just to get your fix!
-
The "... thank you!" at the very end is the most important part imo, showing appreciation for speaking up whilst still keep working the task at had!
-
Jocko needs to be the main character in a video game
-
WILLINK 2024!

Ultimately he's talking of mission-type tactics, where the focus lies on communicating the commander's intent behind the order, and allowing his subordinates to find their own specific solution to solve the problem. Developed by the Germans in the 19th century, its adoption by the US military is relatively recent.
