  • I agree BIG on the Drawer slides. HUGE difference in price. And our UPS guy brings them to the Door with a Cookie for our Dog. Harbor Freight is a great source for Toggle Clamps as well. They have lots of decent clamps. But for me itā€™s an 80 mile round trip to town. And they are NOT giving away Gasoline in Californistan. That round trip now costs me $25 just in Gas!ā€¦good Video. Cheers
  • I havenā€™t even thought about toggle clamps from Amazon. I get the ones at harbor freight, and theyā€™re about $5 a piece. I wonā€™t shop there anymore for those lol.
  • If I had a rockler next door to my house I would still order where Iā€™m going to get a better deal, Iā€™m a hobbyist \ handyman so I donā€™t need the top of the line for small things, by the way I couldnā€™t see your delta good enough behind you but my 12 inch cruzer threw dust all the way to the neighbors house until I ordered the aftermarket dust chute from shop nation completely changed the dust extraction šŸ‘

Thank you again Tim!! Seeing that Amazon for the most part does have the better prices.
  • I get CA glue plus activator off eBay for $20 Australian, from Amazon the same amount and make as you say is $85 Australian. The eBay stuff works really well and used 15 packs of it over the past 5 years.

The Amana countersink that you showed is very nice, but the pilot screw is way to big for smaller screws. Amana has something similar with a smaller pilot for less money. I thought that it wouldn't be very durable because the contact stop is not metal, but I was wrong. I've really put it to work for just over a year now and it still looks new. If anyone is interested. Amana Tool - (55293) Carbide Tipped 82Ā° Countersink with Adjustable Low Friction Depth Stop, 3/8 Dia x 7/64 Drill Dia x 1/4 In (Amazon. $33.) Thanks for the tool reviews. I know that you actually use these items, so I trust your thoughts on them.

Thank You for the info. Take some of that money you saved and by a fan, lol; I refuse to be uncomfortable in the woodshop!

Hi Tim, another good Amazon buy video. Will look on the UK site and see what is available over here out all that you've shown. Just a quick update my shed base is down and I will be going to collect my shed tomorrow (Wednesday) so not long now before I'm getting my first projects out šŸ˜Š
  • Thanks as always for posting. I donā€™t have a Rockler anywhere near me and Woodcraft is about 45 minutes away so I buy most of my stuff through Amazon.
  • Would love to have a Rockler and/or a Woodcraft near me, but I don't. It's either Home Depot or Amazon for me.
  • I'm not a pro so getting generic on Amazon vs a name brand is my preferred path. However, I would be weary of large price difference on name brand product such as router bits or table saw blades. If a name brand is half the price on Amazon, there is probably a reason.
  • Hi there again Tim, so those drawer slides would be $145 USD for me to get them here. Which would probably still be cheaper than buying them off the shelf. I haven't bought drawer slides in a very long time so I'm not exactly sure but I am definitely checking tomorrow.
  • I had that same CA glue kit, wasn't impressed. The first kit I received, the bottles came pre-glued shut and when I got the cap off the nozzles came off with it. Same problem with one of the bottles in the replacement kit.
  • Everyone likes saving. This using super glue is the product of promotion. Personally I do not think it's a necessary tool. Pin nails or brad nails hold the item well when putting it together. Save money and use something just as effective without spending money. I will try it again, but I don't think it is all that effective. BTW this is a like as well.
  • @Zamboni-0805
Does the CA glue come in Thin, Medium and Thick? And do they come in black and brown?
  • Unless you are going to a local "specialty" store, you will not be able to get any good information from any of the employees. Especially at any of the "big box" stores as they will hire any "warm body" to stock the isles...
