Used suboxone for 16 years. Crushing and snorting everyday for the entire ride with no other drug use at all. I just bought them off the street and snorted them. I tapered down myself to about 1.5mg a day before jumping off for the withdrawal ride on 25 February 2024. 56 days in and I will never go back. The first 10 days were tough - restless legs, insomnia, cold sweats, irritation, anxiety…all the good stuff. It wasn’t nice but it starts getting better bit by bit as you get to the end of week 2. I lost count of the hot baths I took just to try and get relief from the Rls, forcing myself to eat something and avoiding caffeine which exacerbated my RLS. Moving into week 3 I started getting a decent 5 or 6 hours a night and I feel much better…managing work the entire time. I’m at the stage where I’ve stopped counting the days and I know I don’t want to do the withdrawal again so it’s all gravy. If I can do it after 16 years to snorting then so can anyone…keep at it and grind away. Good luck! You deserve to be free and I am rooting for each and every single one of you.

Hey I just wanna tell you that you are the definition of motivation. Looking at the videos of you back then withdrawing , till now . Your a complete different person, like it’s crazy. Hey God bless you sir. Subscribed 🙃

I’ve just recently switched to sublocade from Subs. I started at 3-8mgs a day for the last 9years an 9months. Look around and see if you can find the sublocade shot near you. I’m excited because my understanding is there is no to very very little withdrawal! I’m almost through the first month of my 300mg dose in about 8days I get the next 300mg dose and then maybe 1-100mg after that and hope to be done!!!
  • Day 20 here physical symptoms starting to subside no restless leg past 2 days been on it for 3 years jumped off 8mg
  • I came off of 2mg a day about 15 years ago. Took about a month for the entire process to complete. I'm grateful I was on such a comparatively small dose at the time. The worse of it felt like I was carrying a midget on my back who was constantly trying to strangle me. Since then I was on Methadone for about 8 years with a successful taper ultimately from 110mgs in July of 2020. Fast forward to October of 2023 I had Double Bypass Heart Surgery which ultimately led me to going back on Suboxone in November. Now I'm on 16mgs of Suboxone currently. Looking forward to going on a weekly shot to help ease the process of tapering.
  • Im on day 14, I was using 24mg a day and quit cold turkey cause im sick of dealing with getting them from a "special" clinic. Im going threw some insane rage issues and don't know how to deal with it.
  • My physical peak was yesterday on Day 3. Today is Day 4 and my mind is screwing with me

Wow. It sounds like hell. I have Quadraplegia, you might have to look that up but anyway I’m 65 been on subutex for years for severe burning of lower extremities severe spasms just overall pain. Was on 16 mg in April now down to 6mg a day. But the anxiety has already begun so I think I’m in for a long withdrawal period 😢. Hope I can continue because I’m a coward!!!!

Get a load of this. I just had a hip replacement surgery. I went off subs for 72 hours prior, using 7.5 mg. Oxycodone every 6 hours to get by. Did fine. Had surgery. Was given 15 mg. Oxycodone every 3 hours for pain, did okay, went home with script for 15 mg every 4 hours. By the time it was 7 days without subs, I was literally in borderline withdrawal even while taking that much Oxycodone. 90 mg a day. I was chilly. I finally started taking my Suboxone again. I was completely immune to the Oxycodone.

Im a year and a half off after 13 years. It took months to get normal. Little less than 2 weeks physical withdrawal. But months to feel normal. Not that as bad as youd think though.

Going thru it right now, I don’t think my body can handle it anymore

Yesterday was like day 7 or 8 for me I’m not in as much pain as I was yesterday. Yesterday was definitely the peak I was shaking all night for 3 days.

I need to get off sub. They make me so sick. I don’t know how to do it. I can’t even go one day for some reason. I looked into the vitamin c method but I can’t tell if it’s fake.
  • Well, I'm hoping if I taper down.I will have no withdrawal effects at all from what I've read online. And I mean taper all the way down two point five milligrams
  • It damages cartilage ? And nervous system? Funny I get muscle spasms all the time now and my digestion sucks
