Thank you Emil for this opportunity. Because the base was full of dry pigments I had a lot of trouble gluing the horror to the base. I even got some glue on his tail that I painted over later (thankfully you didn't notice). All in all it was a great experience and if you ever need me again you know where to find me;) Ps thanks for your comments on the volumes it helps me learn

All of them were great, but for 150€ I was expecting a truly masterpiece.

Surprisingly the darker the blue horror looked, the more I liked it. But of course the Ork won the day. Such a fantastic looking result 👍🏻

The Ork is incredible. Such a simple model done to such a high standard really makes it stand out

Thanks Emil for the opportunity, appreciated a ton and honored having being part of one of your videos! I also respect all comments addressing the cost of the piece. Don’t want to run into any sort of discussion nor justification but if it may help just let me share few insights: total net after freight, fees, box and French taxes is around half of that total. That’s the reason why I told Emil that even if the piece and base requested were relatively simple I would have had to apply the minimum charge that I would usually ask for a more complex 32mm and base. With that said again, I truly respect all those painters that are faster, better and able to charge much less for their artwork! Cheers!

All amazing paint jobs, but I'm amazed at how much difference there was in price. The $15-20 range looked just as good to me as the stuff that cost 10X more!

honestly...for 150 bucks i woulld expect at least osl on the torch wearing minis

Every mini was great. I don't get how they can charge so little. Maybe they can do them quickly but if I was to try and paint to that standard I'd be at about €3 per hour :) Especially the €15 mini. How someone can paint for that price is insane. Great job from all the painters.

The eyes on the last one did it for me. That one was just awesome!

More of this kind of videos! They really are fantastic :) So nice to compare all these different results of the same mini.

Hey Squid. I’ve only ever painted warhammer when I was young, but I’ve always been into the universe and lore. Your channel has really encapsulated the fun, intrigue and wonder I experienced as a child. So, thank you. Keep doing what you’re doing. Brilliant video, love the creativity of the different painters. I'm currently painting a dwarf army for lotr w a dark/deep feel, and the blue horrors in this vid reminded me of that. Any chance u cld drop a video on how to paint in dark tones, but keeping the right volumes and highlights? Once again, love the channels and wish u all the luck in the world :)
