Helm: many different jobs and extremely important things to do during combat to ensure success Cannon: shoot bad guy
  • to those whose sloop partner constantly boards at the wrong times without warning, I feel you.
  • I have enough experience where this stuff just comes naturally to me but this is a reminder of just how much stuff is actually going on during a battle
  • There aren’t many people that do good videos of pvp tips and most of the time they just say usless thing. This video is really well done, great job mate

Insane guide. Everything was covered down to the last detail. Beautifully done. Only thing I'd say is on the main cannon part once you're in the neutral / winning position is to target their wheel and break it so that their helm can't keep angle. But you pretty much covered this when you said: *Once you break their mast shoot the helm raising the sail* Absolutely wonderfully made.

Reminder to thank your local helm main. It's a thankless job, no one wants to do it, and when something goes wrong it's somehow always his fault.

My brain hurts, great video, literally all the information you need to dominate

One other reason why you should turn right at the start of a hourglass fight: on a sloop, the mast falls on the right side, which could block your aim while cannoning on the right side.

dude i watched this video and immediately dropped a 4 sink streak, best of my career

instant subscribe. A functional order of operations with explanations, no pointless filler content - this is a... PROPER TUTORIAL™
  • Grateful for this video. As a cannoneer I appreciate the emphasis on priority number 1 being angle its so true. Nothing more frustrating than grabbing cannons, turning around and your helm just raced you to the cannon and left you with picking up all their tasks.

For those who are new, this is a very good video to practice and with Safer Seas just days out these tactics will work really well against ghost ships as test dummies.
  • @Bayou_Gamer
