This hoist rescue involved three who rolled their off-road vehicle down approximately 150 foot cliff. Surprisingly they’re only minor injuries.

The briefing before hand, the clarification of each team member’s role and responsibility, contingencies for various failures, the succinct narration of each action as the members perform their assignment, and the closed loop communication is at a level you only see in disciplines operating at the highest tier.     What happens to the wreck vehicles usually in these cases? Do they get left out there as a souvenir for ma nature or another team go in and recover the wreck?
