If masaki Kurosaki hadn't died. her and orihime would have a great daughter in law relationship and would make so much bread together.

She certainly would alleviate Ichigo's more rough edges and ultimately would happily accept Orihime. Yes, Masaki living sure is an interesting what if scenario. Ichigo would still be a hero of many groups and she'd happily encourage it.

It would have been interesting to see Ichigo and Uryu being raised as cousins, as well as them both being a lot more cheerful overall.

Sounds like Ichigo would've been a total beast if she lived. Embracing his Hollow side way earlier, leading to him learning to use abilities like Bala and Ceros in addition to a more developed Hollowfication, as well as Blut Arterie for even more insane offensive and speed, as well as Blue Vene to guard. All that on top of his already crazy powerful Soul Reaper abilities. He may have just been unstoppable lol. Just imagine that Byakuya fight if Ichigo was Hollowfied and using Blut Arterie at the same time when attacking. He'd dog walk Byakuya all over the execution grounds.

I think a good middle ground between masaki dying and ichigo's story remaining mostly the same would be for masaki to be heavily damaged or scarred, ending up disabled or losing most of her powers. That way the story still has his motive and supportive mother, while also not having it be completely without consequence.

The sad part is that ichigo will never see her again that’s the problem Look at orime she has the potential of seeing her brother again his in the soul society somewhere But when it comes to ichigos mom she’s basically gone because she was eaten by a hollow and that’s a death sentence there is no after life for a Quincy of killed by a hollow which is sad and there is no reincarnation ether she’s just gone

Ichigo's mom Masaki Kurosaki's death is The most Trafic and Saddest stories in Bleach and I believe it too Ichigo might be stronger if Masaki wouldn't die, but Masaki Kurosaki is always with the Whole Kurosaki family Isshin, Ichigo, Yuzu and Karin as a ghost/spirit. 😊❤

I think Ichigos as a shinigami would have played out the same way. Karin and Yuzu could become more relevant and I highly doubt Masaki would raise her kids with Quincy morals

He could’ve got a Quincy form taught by his mom so he can switch modes between soul reaper and Quincy anytime. Vasto Lorde or Mugetsu

Masaki's death is such a crucial event in the bleach story that it seems wrong to even change it cuz then we wouldn't have gotten ichigo's phenomenal character arc of self discovery and self appreciation+ it would also affect some of the themes of bleach, and maybe we wouldn't even get the fantastic everything but the rain arc and then all the stuff regarding tybw and vice versa but it certainly bring forward an interesting scenario to theorize about, i personally believe that by letting masaki live the empact of the very first of arc the substitute shinigami would lower significantly cuz then ichigo would be able to take out the hollow that was sent by aizen (i forgot his name) by ease since masaki would've taught him all about the Quincy battle art so the need for rukia to give up her powers would be rendered unnecessary plus if masaki would've survived I am pretty sure she would tell ichigo about his father and that he also have shinigami powers within him + the hollow powers as well, so ig ishin would've taught ichigo about shinigami battle art so now we have a ichigo who knows about his powers and even have become fairly skilled in using both of them, so now that we have this, imo and as far as I know the main shift in the story would accour here, the soul society would get wary of ichigo since he's killing hollows and shit in the human world without being a "professional" soul reaper so ig they would then send rukia to check up on ichigo and here where kisuke would enter the story and do all that bullshit and hide the hogyoku in her gigai and then the events of the story would accour the same as you theorized in the video with slight changes, but man it really is mind boggling to think that by letting masaki live just how much it would empact the ENTIRE story of bleach, Goated character fr

What if Ichigo didn’t lose his shinigami powers using mugetsu

Old man zangetsu is the issue here as he hasn’t had his heart change by witnessing ichigo struggles

You should make a what if Ginjo survived and was imprisoned in the fullbring arc He was a massive source of information and Ukitake would probably want to know what Tokinada’s intentions were

Ichigo awakening his powers at such an early age would be crazy he'd be really overpowered when the bleach actual storyline starts

Perhaps there could be a What-if/Elseworlds oneshot if Tite Kubo is feeling upto it?

I think one of the biggest changes would be how Rukia and Ichigo would meet, because he could probably take down hollows just like Uryu did (Beause unless Urahara starts giving him the pills that separate the soul and body, he wouldn't be using his Shinigami side that often). And even if they meet, it would probably be more like someone who would see sometimes like the afro shinigami, and that would probably end up with the fall of the characters we know like Byakuya, Renji, Rukia, etc. because of Aizen
