49ers Kyle Juszczyk tells funny story about Brock Purdy telling vets to ‘shut up’ in huddle

A QB's "shut up" does not come from intimidation or dominance. It comes the necessity of getting the play called on time. I'm sure he is not worried about who is talking or anyone's feelings. It is just to get the information out in an efficient way.

He's not demanding respect , that's what I respect him for. He's just being himself.

He's done an amazing job. Very calm with pressure. I hope they keep it going. You earn that respect by winning.

When he stood in there to take a crushing blow from a pass rusher to deliver an accurate pass down field I knew he had game. That takes nerves and skill.

What I like about Purdy other than his confidence and execution is his accuracy. He throws a deep ball accurately, something Garappolo has never done. He also puts the ball in a place where the receiver can run.

I hope he wins the SB. No rookie QB has won a SB. Imagine if the first one to do it was also a Mr. Irrelevant.

Brock definitely have potential in the NFL. I believe he can do great things with the 49ers. He is humble. He have good work ethics.

A true leader in the making. He is handling this like a 3-5 year QB with experience. He might not be the best arm, the biggest guy, but he has the qualities that can assist him in succeeding. This system fits him perfectly and all he has to do is manage it without turning it over and he will be looked at like the leader of the offense. I have been a 49ers fan since 1989 and there has been times when I have gotten excited about certain teams. When Steve Young took over, When Kaepernick took over and now, when Purdy has taken over. Think about it, only three times in the past 30 years have I been excited about a QB taking over.

When another long time veteran talks about Purdy in such glowing terms, you know he is doing the right things. What a revelation late in the season!

I think the guys will all take a few 'shut ups!' from Brock the rest of the way if leads to a big prize at the end
