I feel bad for Stephen Warbeck. Getting part of your score thrown out is rough, and while the late Shirley Walker was very thematically loyal and an excellent choice of score doctor, her action music and supplementary main theme for "Mystery Men" really steal the show. This suite comprises a handful of cues to show it off:

The action tracks have Kristopher Carter and Mike Watts' signature electronics from around this period, so it's evocative of a somewhat madcap score to a New Gods episode from Superman: TAS.

    I’ve been wanting to find out or at least get this theme for so long, so glad YouTube exists for this reason. I never knew that the incomparable Shirley Walker, who also made the Batman animated theme song, wrote this fantastic piece. Go figure
