Fun fact, in the midwest US a lot of company owners get trucks like this as a work vehicle, then write off the expenses for taxes to reduce costs. Work trucks like this are used mostly for towing, especially for distances. You gotta think, an easy road trip in the states is 5 hours. I'll make a 12 hr drive 4-5 times a month without much of a second thought. My wife and I drove 36 hours straight at one point to hit the coast for a work contract. We considered a truck like this, we settled on converting a school bus instead of towing an RV.
  • you dont really see too many of these as "daily drivers" unless youre hauling big trailers, equipment, construction, its primarily a work truck. plus diesel can be a lot more economic when driving long distances. you need bigger powerful trucks to get in the woods, and on farms they are a dream. and the 450 isnt THAT big as compared to the 650-850s

They are typically used for hauling farm equipment. But people around here own the older ones because they just refuse to stop running.
  • You gotta haul the crew, the lumber in the bed, and tow a 3 ton trailer. I once saw a truck with an extended bed and a DOUBLE EXTENDED CAB. THREE DOORS ON EACH SIDE

American here, it’s extremely extremely rare that someone daily drives an f450. (I don’t think I’ve ever seen one) they’re basically always work trucks.
  • 7.4 V8TT is from Funco F9 and 7.7L V12 is from Cerbera Speed 12
  • My dad has one because he tows a 40 foot long rv. People do not use it as a daily driver, they use it to tow large trailers

Dubs: I want to keep it a diesel Also dubs 4.5 seconds later: definitely want to swap a different engine in here
  • @tynanconnors
Pretty sure the stock engine is the diesel you’re lookin for… The swap comes from the f450 afaik

Always been a massive fan of forza but only just started to get into the youtube side of it. Love this sort of unique content. Subbed!!

my dad and I use our f250 to haul trailers for go karting , we travel about 4 hours for local stuff and about 7-10 for out of state so a vehicle that big is nice to tow with

As a true Amurican I have only ever seen these on the road pulling like 50 foot trailers or pulling big ass farm or construction equipment
  • @Mrfarmer10
Here in North America we have cattle trailers full of cattle so with all that weight we need a heavy duty truck to do so.
  • Ikr! I put a drift tune on this and it's genuinely my fav drift car it's INSANE. (plus I have the drift pack. So that's saying something)
  • @johnnyguion4290
Basically the boss on any big job is daily driving one of these and only tows his boat.
  • @iceslayer777
Imagine being a new forza player and you see that truck come flying down the mountain 😂

Like you said, its mostly a work truck, but it is also great for things like farming, towing, carrying a bunch of junk in the back. My brother used to drive one of these back when he used to do construction and he could pretty much carry everything he needs in the truck. Its also just big, great for terrorizing the smaller cars and establishing dominance on the road.
  • @ST_GLN_glenn
12:50 Accolade for smashing beach flags in a beetle.... While smashing drift zone flags in a truck 😂
  • @AwkwardDogeE
Youll see a f450 on farms to haul big ass trailers, itd literally the truck for farmers and ranchers. The regular f150 is used more often for hauling small trailers and possibly equipment.
  • @hatterxii
7.7 L V12 is from a TVR. The 7.4 L is the Funco engine. And as far as the truck irl, its either a company truck or a farm truck.
