Palm Beach County officials hoped to take four buildings at the South Florida Fairgrounds that serve as emergency shelters and knock them down.

    I'd love to see a shelter like that. My mom is physically and mentally disabled, and lives in Palm Beach County. I've been in a shelter in SW Florida and met a long lost friend who brought his physically and mentally diabled mom with him. It was hard for them. Now my mom faces that she may need to go to a shelter if a weather crisis happens. It would be super nice to know she has a helpful shelter to go to. I really like our governor, but, please let this happen.

    "Hoping for Grants to pay for it...". 😂 Bc Palm Beach County doesn't have any Money. 😂 No one Sane, is at all surprised that his Nimby Donors said NO. And he works for them.
