For people who don't understand this - if they had found any alive outside the minefield, they'd have to actually do a thorough search of the minefield to confirm those bodies as well... This LT is trying to save his men's lives.

BDA on an A10C? When I actually had to do one of those... the earth on the ground was literally raised from the heat it caused. If there were survivors, he'd be missing limbs.

I deployed for the Iraq war in March of 2003. If there was ever a "live one", we stayed the fck away from it because the haji was most likely boobie trapped.
