This is a good way to help players understand the game but I hope that contact missions get a permanent payout increase

To the new players I just gotta say this. Do NOT spend all your hard earn money on the new cars. Save it for the Submarine so you can start doing Cayo Perico Heist which will pay you so much money once you get it. Also it can be done solo so you don't have to worry about inviting Randoms.

I hope Rockstar updates the career builder every few years with content to help newer players start out with something without being annoyed with 100 things after jumping off the plane. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

Something else to be noted, career builder is a one time thing. You can't start a new character and do-over your career choice if you weren't happy with it. Any new character will spawn in with whatever money you had on your 1st and a regular pistol. So be careful of your choice!
  • Thank you for this video. I'm one of 6 people on the planet earth that didn't buy or play GTA5 so I went into it completely lost. The moment I was gifted 4 million dollars and told to pick between 4 classes I said nope. Figured I'd make a poor choice and blow all that money on trash so I decided to do a little research. And here we are. Thanks again.

Here’s a heads up for returning players who have the criminal enterprise packs go for the nightclub route as you’ll get all the other career routes included such as the CEO office, bunker, mc clubhouse and the cash factory so you will have multiple sources of income from the jump

I think the Career Builder is ok as is. After all once you've spent your initial income and can finally let yourself loose in Los Santos, you have the treasure hunting side quest, the bounty hunting side quest, the hidden collectables etc. There's a decent few ways to recoup your cash now most definitely compared to 2013 when GTA V first arrived. Honestly just seek a guide online, force yourself an empty lobby if you can and just go hunting. That'll get you a fair decent way to getting the Kosatka.

With the nightclub earnings buff of up to 50k per in-game day, you only need to do one popularity mission every 5 days to get it back to 100% and you'll earn about 200k - in invite only. During this time you could do the bounties, treasure hunt, races, jobs, etc. So I think this is a very viable option for a new player. By the time you've levelled up a bit you could have enough for a kosatka without having to deal with higher level griefers.

Plus, if you get the shooting range and manage to three star all the challenges, you can unlock weapons, increase throwable capacity, and unlock unique clothes and gun liveries.

This is pretty good for new players but I do wish they added some type of dedicated intro mission after making a choice. They could also add a mid career mission where it mentions you can buy other properties that go towards your empire (for example if you went the executive route you can still get a bunker). Hopefully they expand on this as time goes on.

Since i did full grinder on pc i went nightclub-terabyte route for fun 1. Money: Client jobs 2. Fun: Trolling with drone. 3. Greifer defense: Strong Vehicle/Missle battery. But for new players great guide.

Since there are way too many vehicles in the game now I think a garage manager is overdue, something that allows you to move cars instantly.
  • @WeezyManiac
Can you please do an in-depth guide on the Weaponized Ignus? I can’t even find one single video of someone testing it’s explosive resistance with someone in it. Your in-depths are always very helpful. Please make one!

I'm happy they brought this idea to life on E&E. Being a new player before was pretty difficult. If you were a guy like me who didn't rely on guides for everything, you'd be grinding for months just to buy and try a business you might not like. My only criticism is being forced to spend money in every category. If you want to start out with just a pistol, you should be rewarded with more money to spend on your business, vehicles, properties, etc.
  • I actually chose to forget my old character and just start over and it’s so refreshing to actually work my way back up and etc.
  • @Crooked60
I think it's kinda cool how you can specialize in something as new player with the careers instead of just jumping around you just focus on one thing.
  • @dingus9947
Honestly think vehicle cargo would've been a better option for the ceo route as a new player but all in all still a much better way for new players to get into gta online
  • @mackeysasser420
I think its an awesome idea and I like the way they did it. They make sure you actually use the content they set you up with as opposed to just buying cayo right away and then that's all you know how to do.
