    I'm very familiar with Virginia, as I've been assigned there several times. Most of the locations that you listed are in the large urban areas of the state: Northern Virginia (NOVA), Richmond or Hampton Roads, which are all found in the eastern half of the state. Virginia's cost of living is quite high, especially in NOVA!
