When you never dated anyone but you're taking notes for your future relationships

I feel like i wouldn't wanna know if my bf had a crush on my sister. My ex told me about his previous crush on my bff and in retrospect I would've preferred to just.. not know.

What you were saying about the girls becoming the guys’ therapist is very true. Even in just a platonic friend-based scenario, I feel like male friends typically go to female friends — at least in my circles I’ve observed this

Would you guys mind posting highlights of this podcast on a separate highlights channel? Someone suggested animated highlights and that could also be really cool (although i undertsand that animating them would be A LOT of work and Alex also needs to focus on the main channel)

Telling your gf that you used to have a crush on her sister is probably going to end very poorly. It could easily make her insecure if y'all are ever around eachother. If it was just an innocent crush and they never talked, she didn't know etc. I don't think theres anything to tell her.
  • To girl of email number 4: You're not his therapist. It's not your responsibility to counter-weigh his mental problems. He should go to therapy and if it doesn't get better, you should leave him for your own good or in the end YOU'll need a therapist.
  • I kinda feel Alex’s advice to all these situations is to break up….. I personally don’t think that’s always applicable to every relationship ( even if the persons are quite young ) relationships take hard work but are not impossible to maintain. Love the podcast though so keep up it up 😊

about the Witcher show: it's based on first two books which are just short stories that are supposed to show you the world and characters but it's really great and also in Netflix' show there's an actual plot connecting everything but I suggest reading first two books and then watching the show for like easter eggs etc.
  • Fruits Basket as an adult still hits me in the feels tho (the newer version gets a lot more story through than the first run~)

COWBOY BEBOP KELSEY AND ALEX SHOW WHEN???? (Also, I love how Alex thinks talking about nerd crap will make us click off lmao, that content is almost as good as the emails/advice)
  • Oh I've had a almost 9 year long relationship where the mother and brother in law were quite troublesome. I almost broke up because I didn't want to deal with them. Eventually... I broke things up anyways. We grew totally apart, and I feel like he bears some of his family's downsides after all.

The Stardew Valley tips are a lifesaver. I'm about in the same position that the email writer is at - year 2, looking for more iridium ore. Thank you so much for the advice. Also love the videos and podcast (and the Kelsey and Alex show is very fun) - thank you guys for the great content

Pls do talk about Beaststars! I’m in the same boat as you, doing it for the meme hah. It’s so addictive.

About the Witcher, the first season of the show is based on the first and some of the second book (The Last Wish and The Sword Of Destiny), which are both collections of short stories. The games are set in a time period after the last book (The Lady Of The Lake). The show is not fully based on the books it is more so of an adaptation, because they skinned some plot points and the showrunners decided to change it up and make it a new-ish experience. Which I don't blame them for due to the first two books being 672 pages combined.
