Eddie Money is one of the coolest American rock singers of all time. He had the voice, the swag, the grit, one kickass band, and some killer tunes. He was the real deal.

Edward Joseph Mahoney, March 21, 1949, New York City.. We miss you and love your music, forever.. Eddie Money..

One of The Moneyman’s most underrated songs.

I’m only 23 years old, but my mom introduced me to Eddie Money back when I was in middle school. On our way to my basketball training sessions, we would always rock out to his cd. This song was always my favorite of his! To this day, I still listen to him almost daily and even me and my mom still listen to him when we are together! RIP to a musical legend, Eddie Money.

Sad to say that Eddie passed this morning (September 13, 2019). Rest In Heaven.

R.I.P. Eddie Money. You might be gone, but your music will live on forever. Now you can rest in paradise and not suffer anymore. #CANCERSUCKS

Eddie Money, his songs are better the louder they are. Same as 38 Special.

In NYC and on Long Island Eddie Money was held in very high esteem.....he came from nothing and became everything.....His music was stunning at its worst.....He is missed.....

I love the era of Eddie Money, and the one video That always makes a tear come to my eye is the song “if I could go back” I’ll do it all over but we can’t go back I know and that is what makes me miss the 80s!!!!!
-
This song got me through a relationship with a mentally abusive wife. It reminded me what abusive people do to us...make us walk on water to make them happy. Thanks Eddie! RIP.
-
When you hear 80s arena rock (especially an underappreciated lost song like this), it's like you're being transported to another time. There's nothing that sounds like this in the mainstream today, which makes it sound so special. It reminds me of growing up in the early 90s too
-
RIP Eddie and thanks for all the music you made!
