Diet is only part of it. Social media and lack of real connection is another part of the problem. Overconsumerism, basing your worth on things, and comparing what you have to others is another part of it.

I was eating standard American diet for years and didn’t know that was the cause of my depression, anxiety, and anger issues. I did keto years ago and it “fixed” me. My personality literally changed overnight from a crazy bitch to a pleasant person. It was then I realized food ABSOLUTELY impacts mental health and stability.

Dhru, Dr. Georgia Ede is your best guest yet! She does such a great job of explaining how a ketogenic diet can improve symptoms and give some people the answer they so desperately need. Mental health challenges are debilitating and can wreck lives. I've pre-ordered the book and can't wait to read my copy when it gets released on January 30, 2024.
  • Finally. Someone who understands the difference between processed/refined carbs, and whole foods. Thank you.
  • My husband's heart attack was caused from undiagnosed diabetes and we don't know for how long. 20 years later he is now diagnosed with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia and now that I have learned the connection and I'm trying to cut back on his carbs The rest of the family is not agreeing with my ideas and it's been very difficult.
