Undercover deputy killed while searching for man who pistol-whipped Little Caesars employee

Investigators say  28-year-old Deputy Fernando Esqueda may have had radio issues, but was on the phone with another deputy before he was ambushed.

    There was so much less crime when we used to take care of criminals ourselves, and before we turned our safety over to government. We had a county sheriff who could deputize people if need be and that was it.
