Love y'all's purple overhead light. I agreed with a lot of the points you brought uyp. I think I was too excited after watching this that I gave some of the actors a little too much credit. I still need to watch it a second time but after some time has passed I don't think I would praise the acting as much as I did in my initial review. Wonderful video, y'all!

Solid review! Scream is my comfort franchise when it comes to slashers (that's even including the first 2 seasons) so it's a bit sad to hear that this one has less levity, but it still sounds like a solid movie. Hoping to see it soon, one way or another!

OMG!! Yes! Time travel!! That's exactly what I said! XD XD Oh Gory! You're the greatest.
  • I put it as my #3 in my ranking, I Really dug the hell out of this movie. I love this franchise so much and I was welcoming with it having a more serious tone. Plus Kirby was confirmed to be alive in this film from the filmmakers due to a subtle Easter egg.
  • Hey, I like all of them but like Gory said, I did find it to be more of a re tread of 4 "where was everyone when 4 came out?" I thought Dewy was amazing in this. Also, my brother said the David Arquette Documentary that you mentioned is great

I think you summed up the movie perfectly, I sent you a Gmail last week with my thoughts on movie & you confirmed my viewing of this movie. If I'm honest I'm disappointed by the legacy characters especially Sydney because each Scream film plot had a link to her , this one really doesn't & being reduced to extended cameos was a big no no for me especially as the new characters weren't memorable. Great gory kills & Ghostface aside this movie felt like it was made cash in on the slasher resurgence & doesn't really add much to the Scream lore.
  • That's the same problem I had with the film, the new character didn't stand out like they did in the other film, like Kirby did in Scream 4 (#BringBackKirby) The kills were bloody and brutal and I did like Sam and Tara. It'll be interesting to see where this series will go next.
  • Finally seeing it on the 31st but it sounds like it's just like Halloween 2018 a good movie full of missed potential and questionable decisions, I wonder if assuming Scream 6 happens will it be worst or better!
  • I have not seen Scream 5 yet ,but I have to agree that Scream 3 is not the best one in the trilogy.
