American mercenaries, hired by the UAE to kill in Yemen, have spoken candidly on camera for the first time in an investigation by BBC Arabic.

At a time when Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping have highlighted the international dimensions of the Yemeni conflict, the investigation also reveals how US mercenaries trained Emirati officers to kill the UAE’s political enemies in Yemen.

These extra-judicial killings, conducted in the name of counter-terrorism, started in 2015 and continue to this day.

Kinda surprised they went public with this, that'll probably be their last Middle East contract throwing UAE in the spotlight like that.

What's the difference between a Mercenary, terrorist and dangerous killer?!
  • @samsmusichub
Dude looks like how you'd think a mercenary would look like.
  • As a citizen of Yemen, I reside in the country and have traveled extensively from east to west. I strongly detest and fear Al-Qaeda more than any other entity on this planet. However, I have never personally encountered or been aware of any presence of Al-Qaeda on the ground in Yemen. My only knowledge of them has been through media reports. When I heard a mercenary claim in a documentary that "Al-Qaeda is in every corner in Yemen," I laughed loudly, as it seemed to me to be an exaggerated attempt by a liar or mercenary to portray themselves as a hero under the spotlight of media attention.

"we do our own research and do our due diligence" literally 5 minutes later "we have our orders.. who am I to question?"

I had a very dear friend from the military join BlackWater in 2003. He didn’t carry out assignations but he did provide security for the Iraqi Government. He told me some wild stories but sadly he took his own life 2 years ago.
  • These guys come off as unhinged, money hungry, self obsessed, sadistic murderers.
  • @MrSoda007
This guy is all over the place one minute he says they do their own investigation Into targets then says who am I to argue with UAE over targets 😮

Real operators would never show their faces or talk about sensitive or classified information on TV.
  • @eyoutube1
"We do our due diligence to ensure this is a legitimate target."
Also him: "Who am I to question the intelligence [of the UAE]?"
  • @user-ts8ne5lx8u
Mercenary: we do our own due diligence so we don't go after innocent people
Report: why did you try to assassinate this person? Mercenary: If my client said he is a terrorist then who am I to question it.
That tells you enough about this psychopath.
  • @maartent9697
I love how baldy goes from 5:00 "We do our own due dilligence" to 7:10 "Yeah UEA are our clients and that guy was a terrorist" doesn't sound like due dilligence to me if you just accept what your CO tells you.
  • Oh my god how much pain this lady had in her heart 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 for losing her son

BBC I'm a British citizen, please apply this level of scrutiny to the members of our government and their complicity in overseas murder. Thanks.
  • @EmanEma5
Murders claiming they are fighting terrorism when they are the terrorists
  • @cakecakeham5823
I love how he lead by saying they carry out their own due diligence, and then immediately fell back on "who am I to question the client?" when challenged.
  • @theotheleo6830
The first guy sounds like a psycho. He attempts to portray his targets as evil, but he really doesn't care who he kills as long as he gets paid. So, who is the true evil?
  • @DardaniaLion
Man, these guys sold their souls to the Devil himself in Person.
