It also wraps around and neutralizes covid Spike proteins. That's what I started using it for. It also reduces lung inflammation. I've heard it also helps open constricted airways.

Please make a video on neuroinflammmation and how this is related to different type of diseases! And how to deal with it

I started using NAC a couple years ago as a "liver protector", just ignorantly and blindly believing in its effectiveness. Older and wiser, i thank you for concisely and comprehensively explaning exactly what it does, i can truly understand everything after going down the metabolic rabbit hole. Thank you for these videos, they're educational and helpful to manny many people.

Great info, but in the future when speaking about a supplement, it would be nice to hear “When NOT take NAC (or some other supplement)” as in possible expected symptoms of the detoxification process. Thanks!
  • @sgtaneja
Btw, NAC should NOT be taken long term without its cofactors : Molybdenum Selenium Zinc Vit B6 NAC doses typically avbl in 500mg or above by most vendors are without research. Cysteine was neve meant to be consumed in mega doses relative to other aminos... , but only in nominal amounts. I do NOT take NAC , but focus on activating transsulfuration pathway & intracellular endogenous synthesis of cysteine from methionine. Doing so also gives benefits of methionine, and helps balance transulfuration/Cysteine pathway with SAMe by balancing SAM/SAH ratios (folate, b12, glycine cofactors). You also need to balance Cysteine with Glycine to aid the detox process in the liver & kidneys.

Please cover in detail a subject that you once touched on and that is the adverse effect of using NAC for some people who have unusual genetic traits. I believe I am one of these people I urgently need more information and guidance. Please discuss this subject
  • @ShroomSleep
What's your take on mushrooms 🍄 as part of a treatment ? Muscimol from Muscaria or reishi, turkey tail, etc. They seem to be very promising.
  • Can NAC be used to help the Kidney, and or lower blood sugars? Many thanks and I really appreciate your videos!
  • I took NAC with Gluthiathone (what do I have to lose, I am so fatigued and in pain) Oh goodness, never again, I felt as I'd been given Amphetamines, 3 days and nights to settle down!! Bit of a body shock!!

Hi Dr Anderson, I do a GlyNac supplement. Not sure how they differ but I kind of remember people saying GlyNac is better. Do you find that to be true? Thanks a lot!
  • Good morning I read somewhere recently that nac is very dangerous when there is a cancer in his prime without diagnosis yet. It gives the environment for him to grow fast. The article was a doctor 's. Do you havean opinion about this
  • @user-jz3iy6sr9g
What about NAC Ethyl Ester- supposedly 20 x more bioavailable than regular NAC.?
  • CanDoctors still prescibe mucomyst or is it not available? Thank you for this information!
  • @tacocat8608
Does NAC interfere with or break down the mucous layer in the gut? I’ve been having severe gastrointestinal distress since I started taking it. Wondering if there is a connection? 🤔
  • @Karmazov
There has been some studies showing NAC accelerating existing cancers. Can you kindly share your feedback on that ?
