I’ve never seen so many homies standing next to each other in a fromsoft game. What a bold shot at the end there
  • 1:56 the choir says "Ave Marika Aeterna", which means "Hail, Marika the Eternal". Clever, FromSoft.
  • @Ghostblock
The last song that plays is the most heroic shit I've ever heard. Damn that gets me hyped.
  • @Zant1920
I’m so emboldened by the flame of ambition rn

I like how Miquella's sites of grace are strong and appear as a shining beacon on the landscapes. It gives hope. Compared to the aura of grace given off the sites of Marika's, Miquella's is a confident ray pointed to the heavens.

I really hope Miquella turns out to be the heroic person they’re making him out to be

Miquella watered the Haligtree with his own blood, so perhaps 0:39 is Marika growing the Erdtree with the blood of the people of the Land of Shadow. The sky outside the pillars is grey, sky inside is gold of the new Age of the Erdtree. You literally see her forging the base rune of the Elden Ring in its Golden Order configuration (this base rune is also her symbol as seen in her soreseal and scarseal), which is conspicuously missing from the Age of Beasts Elden Ring relief in Maliketh’s arena. If Messmer assisted in this atrocity, it would make him very old, older than the Erdtree. He is associated with snakes, and this would explain where the hostility between snakes and the Erdtree came from. His crime (and by extension Marika’s) had to be covered up. 1:45 The skybox shows one huge tree constricted by another. I believe this is the Erdtree symbolically and literally taking over the older Greattree, stealing its life essence. This marks the transition from the Age of the Crucible to the Age of the Erdtree.

I’m telling you guys Messmer works for Marika, he was her Vader. She sent him to kill the Crucible culture and then swooped in like an avenging angel to establish the Erdtree. She is Griffith, she slaughtered the old order and caused the Eclipse. Messmer has all these heretical powers because he was the weapon she sent against them, he collected and oversaw them. He’s a jailer and overseer, not a rebel

You just know that about 1000 youtube channels will turn this into 3 hour essays before it even releases.

1:50 out of all of fromsoftware's tracks so far, I don't think I've ever heard a piece so full of... optimism? heroism? hopefulness? I dunno, it almost sounds cheerful.

Her holding those string reminds me of Ludwig Holy Blade dialogue in Bloodborne: "Have you seen the thread of light? Just a hair, a fleeting thing, yet I clung to it, steeped as I was in the stench of blood and beasts."
