I didn't think I was going to sit through an entire hour of this video, but by the time I realized how long it had been, it was almost over! Great video, it was very enjoyable and educational.

In '84 I was at the Wisconsin State Fair with my mother and sister and I found a ten dollar bill on the ground. We stopped at Toys 'R' Us on the way home and I used it to buy Battle Armor He-Man and Skeletor. One of my fondest childhood memories...

I was 6 years old when these figures came out. I get a weird feeling in my stomach when I look at these at it takes me back to a better, simpler time in life! I can still feel what those action figures felt like in my hand as well as the smell of the plastic. Wow thank you for sharing this! I remember waiting for my mom to come home from the store with the Battle Armor He-Man!

Born in '81, grew up playing with He-Man, Star Wars, Thundercats, Lego, Super Naturals (the old hologram figures), Rock Lords and tons of miscellaneous toy soldiers. I'm in my 40s now. I miss the hell out of being a kid with nothing but happy memories, excitement & growing up in a far simpler, family-orientated time. Michael Jackson and George Michael on the radio, MTV played music and we were party to global events like the Berlin Wall, the Falklands War and the closing of the Cold War. Lifestyles were a lot more affordable then and it seemed hardwork was rewarded. I know many of us feel the same, and these figures really evoke a sense of the wonder of Christmas, the smell of the plastic and tons of shredded packaging, the excitement of coming downstairs on Christmas morning. It was great being a kid and it makes me want to show my future kids what a happy childhood looks like. Thanks for these videos mate, was really nostalgic seeing some of these figures again.

Motu is the GOAT. I almost feel bad for people who weren’t kids in the 80s. It was such a plethora of creativity and eye appeal.
  • Born in '77 and this is the most nostalgic video I have ever seen. So many figures that I had forgotten about. This video made me actually remember the feel and even the smell of these figures. Reminded me of trips on the weekend to Keys & Tons o' Toys with my mom...trips to K-Mart with my grandma. Oh the memories came flooding back, which means they were never really gone...and that's a whole other interesting topic on its own. Also realized that I'm apparently still kinda salty about a school friend removing the "holographic" sticker from Cy-Clone's chest. Thank you for this video. Thank you very, very much.

Everybody can have his own opinion, I know, In my opinion the Hordak figure is one of the best figures of the Masters, I never thought of him as a Skeletor rip-of, and I also think Whiplash is pretty cool, using his tail as a weapon, and the attack track is also a masterpiece.
  • Faker was my all time favorite Figure. My mother bought him by mistake thinking he was He-Man. He and Skelitor were my first two He-Men. I was upset at first but when I played with my friends I was the only one with Blue He-Man
  • I was born in 87. I grew up with my brother's He-man hand-me-downs. I'm kind of surprised at how many of these figures I remember, because they were on their last legs when I got to them. Such great toys. It's been so much fun to have them back.

How lucky are you that your kids are into this. I never got to have kids myself but if I did I would've loved to have shared my passions with them.
  • @dwtdwtdwt
Orko deserves to be top tier. How can you not give him a thumbs up?
  • @damnedash9526
I absolutely loved this entire line as an 80s kid... <3 I didn't anticipate sitting through an hour-long video but it was a lot of fun reviewing the entire line and remembering all of them and the adventures I used to have. It was like talking MOTU with a friend and reminiscing. Thanks for a great video! I had fun!
  • This trip down memory lane was bittersweet... yet beautiful and something I cherish. Very powerful. Thank you so much
  • I just bought a whole bin of these plus both snake mountain and castle greyskull at a rummage sale. This video was really helpful in figuring out what went with what and the years.
  • @iNeverHadMercy
8:20 the most memorable figure from that era! Remembered seeing his episode and couldn't wait to get toy. Never could find one.....until now! Thanks "retro"
  • Being born in 1980, these toys were my childhood. Buzz-off was actually my first figure, but I evetually had most of them. Then we moved into a new house around '87 or '88 and ALL of my collection was lost in the move. Still makes me sad 30+ years later.
  • @chriscooper9624
I didn't realise how many of these figures I actually recognised and had when I was growing up, brings back good memories.
  • @joevolpini137
You took the whole nine yards with this. With detail. I was a big collector myself back in the day. I'm making a big comeback with origins to refill of some I sold. Great work!
  • @brushstroke3733
Great discussion of the vintage originals, and amazing collection. Thanks He-Bro.
