Great episode, great guest, great insights. HONESTY that’s what Dems need more of. Not hiding behind race/sex/etc I liked how you noticed he said “WE need a new dem candidate”
  • I hope an in-depth review of a number of dem presidential candidates takes place after Biden steps aside.

From 22:30 to the end are some perspectives that might help us all.
  • Murphy is the BEST!! "Hacks on Tap" is required podcast listening each and every week.
  • Margaret Hoover is a first rate interviewer, far better than the manikins on CNN, MSNBC, and mainstream media. What a great interview!

The problem with Trump, he's not a Rinos, right Murphy?
  • I LOVED this episode! Mike Murphy definitely made me laugh! He's brilliant!, please have him on again!
  • Mike Murphy is a smart guy. And a long time establishment, political consultant. The era of the populists and Trump in particular, have destroyed that (and his) business. Sour grapes?
  • I agree that social media algorithms contribute and encourage the divisiveness in our society. I often disagree with people on-line, but I always try to remain civil and respectful and provide specific examples of why I disagree with their particular stances and beliefs. The best exchanges often result in learning something new by considering another person's perspectives. A return to civil debate will only occur when people make a purposeful decision to disagree, but not to be disagreeable. Lobbing insults and other personal attacks at a stranger does nothing but discourage an open and productive dialogue, and it pushes people further into their "us and them" camps. I consider it my personal challenge and responsibility to respectfully communicate with others and have an open mind to any new ideas I may learn in the process. I refuse to contribute to the discord and toxicity which has no positive value and only makes people simmer with anger.
