My engine hoist came from Harbor Freight, however these mods should also work for the Sunex 5222, Ranger RSC-2TF, Eastwood 33913, ATD 7485, Larin EH-2FB, Dragway Tools LD-E01001, Strongway 46219, DieHard DH20025, Duralast 123037, NAPA BK7761236, Power Torque Tools PT34786, and GoPlus engine hoists (or shop crane) as well.

  • I would love to see the setup on the sand blaster cabinet in the back of the shed.
  • First thing I did ( I am still a mechanic after 55 years in the trade, ) the pump handle got a 4" bolt welded about 4-5" down the shaft for critical control of the valve ( oily hands don't have much grip!!!) I welded a bolt to the bolt at the bottom of the upright now the handle slip out or get lost around the workshop when the crane is moved, I also have a magnetic led light that I attach to the arm, ( can never have enough light!)
