The “you look perfect” to her sister because she looked enough ugly for a funeral, and her sister answering “thank you” is the best 😂

"It keeps falling in this really chic way"😂😂😂

"Just take some of your make up off" "I'm not wearing any make up" "WUUUT!?" 😂

Everyone says that Fleabag looks like her mother and then, Fleabag looking so good at her mother's funeral to me is a brilliant metaphor saying that her mother is still alive in her
  • @purbated
Claire saying "Oh what the hell, you look incredible" with that straight face would never not make me laugh.

The godmother giving her a non passive-aggresive compliment makes this whole scene for me

This is such genius writing. "Grief clearly agrees with you" while Fleabag spends the entire series trying to cope with not only her mother's death but her friend's death. It's great irony. I think it's also indicative of how Fleabag presents herself as more in control of her emotions than she actually is, ironically doing it subconsciously. It's a great commentary on how we often handle grief in ways we aren't aware of, even if we think we know exactly what we're doing.
  • This is legit tho. Somehow grief and crying all the time gives one this unexpected glow up. Had one after my husband died. Clear skin and rosy cheeks. Glossy hair. Lost just the right amount of weight. And the constant crying gave me aegyosal and sparkly eyes. I was 28 then, but when meeting new people, they thought I was a teenager. Yes this is a weird flex, but even I was kind of dumbfounded by it. Got so many compliments and my Dad would just joke that I had to look pretty to find a second husband.

I genuinely cannot express in words how fantastic this show is... I’m laughing and crying and loving and hating everything and everyone but it’s perfect. I’ve found myself falling in love with both Fleabag AND the Priest and their relationship is tearing me apart because one of them will ALWAYS lose out. I really want it to happen and I really don’t. The characters are incredible. Absolutely genius show. Everyone needs to see this masterpiece.

The funny thing is, she really doesn't look that much different from how she normally does.

This series was far too brief (like so many good British series). It was so intelligent, humorous and original. Genuinely saddened we won't be seeing more of it. :/

I could watch this FOREVER and never get bored. Genius is not over-egging the pudding. Even though Fleabag is no more, I really hope that PW-B continues to write and act in TV & film.

The way she looks at Boo is exactly how she does to the cameras!!

I'm so inlove with claire and her oddly funny stressful aura
