You are exactly right with your assessment simms. People have been reviewing tape and trying to say mahomes missed open shots in the game but it is just a product of trying to not make a risky throw Mahomes even alludes to it the entire postseason. Just keep it safe for the first three quarters and then go get it at the end of the game. They fully trust each other and that’s how they won the Super Bowl this year

After the bomb to Mecole Hardman, if Pacheco does not fumble inside the 10 for a turnover to San Fran. This game is a totally different game. That would have given KC at least a FG, but I think they get a TD. And then just as was the case with Lamar and the RAVENS, the 9ers abandon the run expecting a shootout early. The entire game changed based off of the Pacheco fumble.

“Why do we even have refs anymore?” 😂 My thoughts exactly. Seemed pretty clear there were more 49ers getting away with holds than Chiefs, but in the end the refs seem to not even pretend to know what a hold is anymore, and just let 95% of them go, with a mostly random one called here and there. 🤷♂️
