So I tried this method just this morning and it WORKS! My curls have more bounce and are much more even. Putting gel in it while it's very wet and washing my hair upside down helped SO much.

"Omigod your natural hair is so cute! Wear it down!!!" takes out ponytail "Ew! Don't you brush your hair? It would look much better straightened." spends literally 1.5 hours straightening it "Ew! Why is it so frizzy? Your hair looked much nicer when you left it natural" has to wait like two weeks for hair to recover from being straightened only for the cycle to repeat This is why I've stopped caring about other people's opinions.

the worst thing is that im in the middle of straight and curly. like my hair doesn't have any obvious curls but it still has the frizz that comes with it. so it just basically looks like an untamed bush 24/7
