👑 FELIP 7sins album listening | better than COM•PLEX? 🤔...Felip has outdone himself 🙌🏽

Marilyn is a girl who made fun and mocked Felip for being Bisaya. She posted in social media and Felip replied to her post saying, "thanks for the lyrics hahahha". And so he did. He dragged Marilyn in this song called Pride. Just so you know, there has been this age-old (or maybe until today) "looking down" to Visayans or province dwellers by the city dwellers in the Philippines. In movies, Visayans are always depicted as low class, uneducated maids. They're usually the comic relief in movies. Felip's pride as a Visayan can no longer let that happen. That's why he always makes sure to have Visayan lyrics so he can make his language mainstream. His solo debut song Palayo is full Visayan. People like Marilyn just need to respect every single ethnicity in their own motherland.

He is obviously against himself w/this album, fighting worldly desires and wanting to be align w/ everything that is good. You can see him struggle and won his battle based on the tracks. This album is truly an absolute masterpiece and he himself as a person is art itself.

Pride is one of my favourite in this album because it's Bisaya and the lyrics so meaningful

I love Ache! I hope Felip can sing that onstage with the kids like a choir. The song is inspirational almost like a worship song esp at the beginning. I agree Hurraira Lust should have an mv! ❤❤❤

Felip as an artist is an EXPERIENCE! All his complexities is what makes him so special. He is far from perfect but it makes me love him more and makes me root for him. I will just cry my heart out in his concert

24:35 Marilyn. Hahaha. Remember in PPop Con 2023, Felip performed there, and the end of his performance, the host teased him if he can host the rest of the concert. Of course, our shy KenKen came out, and shyfully declined, half-running to the back of the stage. Then this Marilyn posted something in X, saying how Ken is such an embarrassment, that he was showing his being Bisaya, “uneducated, ignorant & taga-bukid” (bukid: mountains, intending to mean the Bisaya are untamed). Marilyn was mocking Ken’s origin/ancestry which Ken has tried so hard to promote & lift up (remember his first solo ‘Palayo’ is in Bisaya). 😂. Good for you Marilyn! Bleh. 😝 Being a Bisaya myself, ‘Pride’ has become my top 2 in this EP (my #1 is Ache, of course). Pride is so funny because most lines were sang in Bisaya & the terms Ken used are really savage. As in, savage SAVAGE. Hahaha. 😂 Such a shame that the savagery was ‘softened’ in the English translation. 😅 But yeah — from what I hear — Marilyn’s X post was the 2nd repost that Felip did, followed by “Thank you for the lyrics, hahaha

Beautiful review! You came blindly hoping to get the authentic artist that you are hoping for on his music and you are not disappointed but you got stumped girl. This is as vulnerable, raw and genuine Felip as we can get. I saw how he bare his soul in here! Such a beautiful artist....hands down. I never doubted him.😢 Its but proper to start the album with rage and anger with song foes. Expressing his inner battle with 7sins and end with a redemptive song Ache. 7sins is a materpiece of an album and Ache is a masterpiece gem inside it. Its a perfect end to 7sins. Its very cohesive and he is a genuis to come up with this concept. I believed its his concept. Im interested how this came about..❤❤❤

Ache made me cry so much! You can feel the ache in FELIP’s cries in this song. This is my current anthem. And the whole time I was listening to this album, I was saying thank you to Josh for choosing Ken and for reaching out to him in the first place all those years ago, otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy Felip/Ken’s gifts. So, thank you so much, Josh!!! 💙💙💙

Ache is also my favorite. It's a masterpiece. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves because sadly, the promotion for this album has been low key. No media press con, no tv promotion, nothing. But I'm not losing hope. Perhaps slowly, casual listeners will hear it and share it to the world. There's a lot of people hurting/experiencing pain and struggles. I know someone out there will very much appreciate this song because it helps you release all that emotions that you may otherwise bottle up.

Felip is a trailblazer. He will change the music trajectory.

Greed is my favorite!!! Hope to see more songs from Ken using his mid and upper range.

Remember when Felip said “you can’t feel love if you can’t feel pain”? That’s what came to mind after I cried my heart out after listening to Ache for the nth time. This song and the way Felip let out all the pain which resonated so much in his voice showed me how heavy the challenges he must have faced. But it gave me a glimpse as well of how strong and grounded he has become, because although the song has a melancholy feel, it is very inspiring and motivational. The depth of pain he expressed here is testament as well to the depth of love he is able to give, and does give, based on comments fr most everyone he worked with doing this album, that it was not all for him but for everybody involved in the project. Felip is such an inspiration and he has proven that even more with 7sins.

I appreciate Felip for saying that it’s okay to skip through the songs bec he understands that his music is not for everyone. With that being said, I still went through the album bec I love Felip like that, and I especially liked Greed, Lust and Ache. 😊

Felip's "Ache" is the only ACHE that I am happy about & greatly love or adore. ACHE is actually my favorite in the latest album release of #SB19_KEN aka #FELIP entitled 7 SINS. It's so emotionally engaging, challenging & exhausting until you find some degree of redemption in the process - emotionally charged, indeed.
