If porcupines had the ability to project their quills they’d quite literally be the most op animal

Predator: I have you! Porcupine: Aye, but you’d have joined me in death.

Imagine being an animal in the wild with no access to healthcare. You're quilled for life.

I worked for a veterinarian in the Texas Hill Country and porcupines are no joke. I know in the states, the quills aren't as long as in Africa and South America but it's horrifying to care for an animal who has a facefull of quills, all the same.

Fun fact: most animals in the wild, except for dogs, will not go after a porcupine. If you see a wolf, fox, or raccoon in the wild that is covered in quills, is likely rabid.

When you level your defense so high you unlock the Thorns ability, and level that up too to max.

"Despite of this hardcore defense mechanism, sometimes hunger is a more powerful motivator" Me: I will keep that in mind

When you max your vitality and reflect damage is insane.

Simple defense but brutal almost like torture for some of the animals that cant remove it by themselves. That was educational video and surprisingly comments as well. Cheers.
  • So the porcupine kills the snake after it get's eaten. That was somewhat of a counter-intuitive defense.
  • I have seen a lot of things in my life but those quills in the mouths of those animals made me wince. This is easily the hardest video I have ever watched.

omg that python death must've been the most excruciating thing I can imagine.

Most animals actually stay the hell away from porcupines and the few that don’t, clearly learn a terrible mistake after getting smacked by a porcupine’s tail resulting in a face full of razor sharp quills. I’ve literally seen a coyote run away from a porcupine after stumbling across one while I was on a hunting trip.

My Chow Chow dog met a porcupine one night. Emergency trip to the vet 300 quills later a huge vet bill and a dog that came very close to dieing. She never messed with one again !
