1:34 - When the Terminator overlooked California and told himself he will govern it one day

This is what terminator should be doing always, literally punching a hole in someone's stomach, not throwing people around!

RIP Bill Paxton, the one and only who faced the three most iconic movie monsters (Terminator, Alien and Predator).

hard to believe that arnold was considered so indispensable for this film, that the cast and crew were prepared to wait for him to finish filming conan the destroyer rather than recast him. excellent decision because history was made.

damn arnold in his prime was an absolute unit

"Give them to me...NOW!" This script is perfect for Arnie!

I feel like Arnold’s acting is so underrated. He perfectly captured the idea of a robot trying to conceal himself as a human. On the outside and in certain movements, you’d think he was just a human. But the way he scans around, and especially when he speaks, because the viewer sees him so much, you really realize this thing is far from human. Also, did Bill Paxton’s character actually die in the beginning? Looks to me like he was just thrown into the metal gate. But then again a robot did that to him so the force probably did kill him.

Some huge naked guy asking for clothes punches through chest and grabs the heart out. This is whats lacking in new terminator movies: horror

35 years later and the T800 is still the best Terminator villain, though T1000 comes very close.

Brad Fiedel just nailed the sound and music of both T1 and T2. Raw, epic, scary and thrilling.

I like how the three punks aren’t even remotely threatening to the T-800 when he first approaches. Other than laugh at him for being naked, they don’t even do anything bad and only pull their blades on him when he threatens them first. This works to make them seem so much more sympathetic and underserving of their plight when he finally kills them.

RIP Bill Paxton. He played the blue haired punk that gets terminated and two years later played Private Hudson "Game over, man!" in Aliens. He was a cool dude in my childhood.

The way the terminator stands up and looks around. Chilling.

The robotic way in which arnie copies the punks is the most terminator like thing ever. You could not of picked a better person to play it. Absolute beast arnie 💪🏻
