  • I love Dayton audio. I've got a reference 15 in my car in about 2.3 cubes tuned to 28 hz and it sounds incredible
  • Awesome video man! The quality of content is always excellent in your videos
  • @drrckhamilton
For the money Dayton Audio is one of the best period. To me, in the EXACT same order that you listed them in but obviously it depends on what each person wants. I finally picked up the DATS V3 speaker tester. Waiting for it to get to me. As always good job.

I'm using a 12" HO subwoofer in a 0.7cuft box and the sound quality is excellent 🥰

I run a Ultimax 10 in my Pontiac G8 powered by a Kicker Key500.1 with a custom box tuned to 29hz and it does great. Nothing crazy loud but blends well an does great on low notes for sure. Awesome review and comparison to other dayton drivers.
  • I'm here because of doug and good content definitely found a new channel to watch
  • @25hztolife14
Impressive for sure. Of course, building a box for it is a good idea. In my opinion, a sealed and ported box. That way we can see the characteristics of the same sub in a different enclosure.

Dayton Audio is so underrated, and I like it that way; the less people know about this amazing company and their incredible products, the better. My car's audio system is all Dayton drivers, and it far outperforms any system it has been compared to. Systems costing hundreds (if not thousands) more don't come close. Lots of people get lost in big names, power numbers, and marketing... Yet some of the best sounding drivers are just a click away.
  • Waiting for a video on their new Reference high excursion! Closely looking at getting the 10 and like that it is advertised as being for small enclosures (10” in 1.0 cu ft with 25mm xmax)
  • @alanworks4354
I have the Ultimax 18 behind the passenger seat of my Chevy Z-71...it's VERY impressive ;-)
  • @toob247
Been watching a bit. I think you're a genius if common sense when it comes to audio. Just what YouTube needed.
  • @JesseJames83
Wow that was anti climactic. The Max X was barely mentioned at the end.
  • @dilbeckskate
insane good video and I like the new edit style / unboxing
  • @MegaHz11
I like all 3 of these subs. The Ultimax really catches my eye,the max x is great and affordable. Good vid I'm gonna check them out.
  • I have the MAX-X 10 in a 1.4 cuft box and it is a really good driver and is very smooth and goes down very low
