I forgot to mention Doctor Doom's cameo during X-Men 97, but that was a totally different version of the character. Not the one who will appear in live action movies and shows.

Don Cheadle needs to say “Doom, are you looking for this”

I've said this before. I want a villain like red skull. I don't want him to be a good guy in the beginning and I don't want him to be a good guy in the end. No f**** redemption. We want a f**** bad guy.

Very glad to hear they not plan on rushing dr. Doom that character deserves longevity.

I have been wanting Doctor Doom to be done well for so damn long, no one that has used him in a movie yet seems to get what makes him such a great villain (or even anti-villain/hero depending on the story.) . He's such a goofy, oldschool villain in so many ways from his design, to many of his campy tricks, to his sheer theatricality that at least on paper, you can't believe anyone would take him seriously. But then suddenly, he's legitimately outsmarting heroes, making fantastic points, showing believable capability, and using that theatricality in the face of gods and the horrifying unknown and it's so hype. That duality of hilarious heel and incredibly capable rival, all the while playing the same bombastic personality straight just makes for an incredible one of the a kind character. He's so much more than a throwaway villain, and I really hope the MCU gets that.

He's the perfect new "recurring villain" to replace Thanos. Not as much of a "big bad" (at first!) but more of an entertaining recurring rival villain whose relevance progresses at the same rate as the heroes until things come to a head.

Also devastating to hear about Comicstorian. Very sudden.

him and i would get into silly arguments over his "complete stories" he always did for the comics. it was all in good fun. when i lost my mom to cancer 3 years ago. he reached out to keep me from falling apart. i'm going to miss him so much. Rest In Peace in Heaven, brother. i'm trying to be strong for ya. may the good lord watch over your wife and family for you till we all reunited in heaven one day. #FORBENNY
