I've watched three Jerry interviews and he's a mess in all of them. He clearly saw Kobe like a son and no parent wants to bury their son.

“You cannot ever lie to a player.. never” Jerry West deserves to be the logo forever. He epitomizes class and respect. He’s what every man should strive to be character wise.

Right now Jerry and Kobe are having awesome 1 on 1 games right now in the heavens. Rip Kobe and Rip Jerry West
  • I'm heart broken, he is truly a man of God, you can't find a better human being than Jerry west, he's a better human being than he was a player, he is with Kobe in heaven now, rest in paradise Mr West😢💙
  • Someone please keep an eye on Jerry... He's older and has a lot of pain in his heart. Older ones tend to decline health wise during heartache... Keep him close
  • @Bilnation
That pain on Jerry’s face, I feel that. This hurts...

Jerry is really suffering like crazy... when he said "I really don't know if I can get over this, I really don't know..." it broke my heart

Mr.West calls Shaq Shaquille every time he mentions him and that alone shows you the respect he has for the man. That is amazing.

"You can't play for that owner." He knew Sterling was a bad man, and loved Kobe so much he didn't want him to play for him.

Jerry is such a private person... seeing him like this is just.... wrong somehow. Really seems like he lost a son.
  • this is probably without a doubt the saddest thing that's happened in the sports community
  • RIP Mr. Jerry West. You finally get to see your brother. Enjoy the reunion.
