  • Did I miss anything here? What else would you like to know about the Baton Rouge area?
  • I was raised in Baton Rouge. I moved out right before Katrina. I don't miss the traffic, the crime, the corruption, the taxes, the potholes, the litter, etc, etc...
  • @sptuuri
You avoided the BIG ELEPHANT in the room: CRIME!!!!

I moved to baton rouge from London I unfortunately was there when the hurricane hit in summer 2016 if it rained for just 1 more day our home would of been flooded🤦🏾‍♀️ Im back in London now but do miss the friendly, genuine, good people, food & Daiquiris💜💚💛

It's amazing that you mention Baton Rouge as a college sports town yet you did not mention Southern University.

This is the first one of your videos I've seen. Very well done my friend. You covered a lot of stuff, made it entertaining, and, far as I can tell after living here 34 years and being in the home repair business, thus driving around Baton Rouge a lot, you were totally honest, be it good or bad. You told it like it is. That's exactly the way it should be. Good, bad or ugly, tell it like it is. One thing I'd like to say about the love bugs. They're only around about a month a year. Thank God!! They area pain in the butt for sure.
  • I’m currently looking into relocation for my masters at LSU! This has been great information. Thank you!!
  • I was waiting for the mention of traffic lol! It was one of the driving forces for me to move to Prairieville from Port Allen. Now what's awesome is that I work in Amite so the majority of my drive is backroads with a brief travel to get on 55. I avoid the interstate at all costs! 🤣
  • I remember when I lived there that it's snowed three times before I moved back home.
  • @chad111275
Great video! I'm off of Lockhart not too far from you. The schools would be a good topic.
  • Livingston parish here, I miss the old Baton Rouge. I stay for away from it now!!!
  • Bro thank you! I’m currently driving trucks locally and a Louisiana local. I was looking for a good dining spot to take my woman and you tsunamis looks like the perfect option right off bat
  • @esteee
“One Louisiana tradition you’re not wanna take part off “ lol 😂
  • This past summer I saw a gas station covered in love bugs. The building was black with bugs

I grew up in BR and you left out one big thing..... Its a shit hole.... Crime ridden for the most part. I left years ago and hate when I have to go back. Glad my family moved south so I can avoid the place.

if the crime and traffic were fixed, this can be good town
