These Salamancas know how to cook. I need to get me one of those burritos or tacos. Orale. Also, NEVER call the grandmother of a Salamanca biznatch.

I added subs for Lalo's Spanish in the third clip. How could Nacho turn down that plate, Lalo used epazote man!
  • It’s funny that the Salamancas seem to all be great cooks and yet their biggest competition is an owner of a chicken restaurant that doesn’t even cook the chicken

I love that Tuco is at his best and the most at peace when he cooks.
  • "Cooking with Lalo" would be a great spin-off, as long as he maintains his signature charm and menace. I would definitely watch.

Who else was shocked and a little bit touched that Tuco made a burrito for Jesse and Walt ?
  • @JakubRosman
You know Tuco could've let Walt and Jesse starve but he went out of the trouble to make them a homemade burrito.
  • Salamanca family so well raised always feeding their guests what great young men.

Dude says the most loving thing in such an intimidating way to his uncle.

Damn the way Lalo said “Te vas a morir” to Nacho 😭😭😭
  • What’s smart about the scene where Tuco is slicing tomatoes is amazing to me. Since the episode before this ends on the tuco cliffhanger, we immediately assume that tuco is doing some horrible shit to the two skaters because it’s tuco and from what we know about him he’s crazy. But when the camera reveals that he’s just slicing tomatoes for whatever dish he’s making I couldn’t help but laugh. I think that’s the reaction the directors wanted. The joke relies on the knowledge of fans while also staying true to Tuco’s character. That scene is just another example of wordless storytelling and how the creators of this show know their own character (which is something you don’t see in a lot of media) and how they know how the fans think too.

Ain’t gonna lie, those burrritos tuco made looked good asf

Let's be real, Tuco serving his Tío some food is one of the most heartwarming moments in all of Breaking Bad.

Yo, Lalo telling Nacho straight up "Te vas a morir" (you're gonna die) is spine chilling now.

I like how the second scene of Tuco cooking starts out vague and terrifying, but then you just slowly realize "oh he's cutting tomatoes :D"
  • I always enjoyed how despite Tuco being a murderous psycho, and Walter and Jesse being his hostages, he still felt it was important to make them a bite to eat.
