Dream: you can see red now, George!! George's eyes: are you sure about that

Normal people seeing this video: Finally a trully realistic clip Me another colorblind: Visible Confusion

I love how George was like: “wait your actually green!?” Like he thought Dream was lying to him about being green the whole time

at around 7:16 when he started naming the colors, I was in shock. I've never really been able to see what color blind is like in real-time, and see him naming the colors which most people would've called brown/yellow/gray colors like red/magenta/orange, etc. i was absolutely blown away...

You know, it's especially sad because dream thought George could see real colors. But George sees this. It's not that different to us people who aren't colorblind which is so sad.

I like the fact Dream was so patient with George, like it’s rough not being able to see colors and not being able to tell things apart. Glad he got a glance at green. :)

George: "It's just so RED :O" me: *silent crying*

If he saw the “real“ colours imagine how stunned he would be

Hearing him say "red" and "orange" to colors that are clearly green and yellow to me is so interesting... I wonder how he tells them apart.

I'm actually surprised some people thought that glasses could cure being colorblind 🤷‍♀
  • My brother has the same color blindness as George, but more severe He loves his color blind glasses. He cried when he saw pink and purple. It still makes me sad that they still can't see the vibrance of what we see.

Bro when he said “Thats pink” and it looked gray my mind was blown and I just realized that he learned colors different than me.

In conclusion: No, George seeing colors is still very limited and the glasses make a contrast between the Colors and don't just give him the ability to see colors, it's sad but for George at that point in life he has adapted to the colors he sees so it's fun for him as he can actually distinguish the colors, this is very bitter sweet.

You can tell that the difference is huge, especially for someone who is color blind, but imagine their reaction to the actual colors. The difference would be immaculate.

"it's so red, it's really red" While seeing a more saturated yellow
  • @WillCheadle
Imagine his expression if he actually got to see red one day
  • @SopeSuds
i was confused on what george meant when he said "darker" but i understand now

This is pretty much what Enchroma does. It doesn't magically make you see full colour vision, but it does help increase the contrast a lot, causing red and green to be more vibrant and stand out from other colours so George can tell them apart a lot better. That alone is a major improvement and I'm amazed that glasses like that exist.
