FINALLY! I can just grab my drill, some screws, some baking soda, a syringe, a D battery, and some gorilla glue to make a lighter that barely lights, and could potentially explode, instead of wasting 2 bucks on a new one!
  • I did use the duct tape backing on sand paper. That one I will give a thumbs up.
  • I’m a handyman, thank god no one knows about the glass coke bottle trick! My business would go under!
  • I am deeply moved by this video. Never before in my life i have seen such nonsense!

That lighter "hack" is a really long walk for a short drink of water. 😂😂
  • The part that cracks me up is where he spends all that time to mod that sketchy lighter and then on the next object he uses a completely different lighter 🤣
  • I also noticed something, it’d make far more sense for your “handyman”, or contractor, to want you to know these. So they can charge you thousands of dollars to repair the explosion you created in your home.

When I saw my handyman hook my refrigerator up to a pencil, at first I was skeptical, but then he referred me to this video and I've been assured that he's a professional after all.

How many opened the video to just watch the lighter hack and now feel like being cheated 😒

Cool tricks to make small jobs take longer!
  • As a handyman, I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE EXACTLY WHAT I DIDN'T WANT THEM TO KNOW!!!
  • Solutions for problems that don’t exist…yet I kept watching. 🤗
  • I watched my grandfather in Pennsylvania cut tops off glass gallon jugs this way using kerosene & string. When the fire burned out, he tapped lightly around the string line with a small hammer. The top usually broke off clean. He put the body of the jug upside down over his rose bushes to protect them through the winter. I loved that ol’ guy!
  • I started doing the lighter hack... Noticed the electrical arcing in my drill... Used that to light my joint... Thanks for the tip.
  • You don't need to drill holes in wood to twist wire with a drill. You can just put the wire's directly into the chuck of the drill.
  • That's a great way to fry your usb adapter, Shorting the leads to make that soldering iron tip heat up requires a ton of current. Even on the lower power end, a soldering iron would require 20W to be dissipated. From a 5 volt usb supply that would mean 4 amps of current is required, when most usb adapters are rated between 1 and 3 amps. This is disregarding power losses throughout the length of the tip and contact resistances at the terminals.
  • My handyman would be so mad if I learned how to partially fix a lighter. Thank you!

As someone who has seen a lighter explode when chucked at the ground, that seems like an awfully dangerous project to do when you could just buy a refillable lighter.

Channels like this are made to hasten the distribution of Darwin awards. Keep it up. 👍
  • I was at home trying to watch this video when suddenly some handyman's kicked down my door and slammed my laptop shut. They told me they don't want me to know the forbidden secrets of the sacred order of the handyman's. I would like to watch this video but they threatened to come back and shut my laptop again. I'm afraid of the handyman's.
