There's an easter egg in this video for my next Questions for Pseudoscience. See if you can find it, and post below. Also what other things do you want to know about that you shouldn't drink?
  • @RockinTheDub
I took a shot of toilet water every time he said “bacteria“
  • @TitaT
the fact that “don't drink toilet water” has to be said is alarming
  • @olamajosta3621
Me: looks intensely at the toilet water dumb ways to die tune starts playing
  • Dog says, "Oh, you talking about the natural spring water you try to hide from me in the closet? Yah yah, that's good stuff!!"

So the thing when bullies put someone's head into a toilet can actually be lethal... makes you think, because people joke about it all the time
  • Just imagine going to the emergency room with food poisoning and when doctors ask you what happened you tell them that you drank toilet water.
  • @nerds-nonsense
i feel like most people asking this question are really just asking if the water itself is the same water that comes from your tap which is why several of the examples specified a new or clean bowl

My brother got sick from drinking toilet water. When he was a toddler, mum caught him dipping toilet paper in the water and sucking from it. A few days later he was throwing up all over the place, and was like that for a few days, glad to know from these videos that he was probably lucky.
  • when you are 3 days without water, drinking toilet water could be the lesser of two evils of the risk of septic and dehydrin. at that point, you could die from dehydrin

Google must be invading my inner thoughts because I thought about this yesterday but I didn’t say it out loud
  • So, if for some reason you are in some dire need of water and for some reason you can’t drink from the tap of the sink or bath, and all you have is the toilet (likely scenario, I know), drink the water from the toilet TANK. I was wondering if there was bacteria in the tank, and I am surprised that there is such a Little amount. Not saying there always will be a little amount, but it sure seems safer than drinking from the toilet bowl.

First one to comment "I drank it and didn't get sick" gets bullied into oblivion
  • Good to know that bleach is definitely a good go to when cleaning the toilet. Whether or not anything/anybody ends up drinking from my toilet, I will definitely get more into the habit of disinfecting the whole thing. I will also be disinfecting my wallet due to relevant circumstances
  • Now I've watched this video I think I'm gonna lay off the toilet water for a while.
