😎 It might be easier and cheaper for you to use pre-owned already opened action figures for your customs. Because there might be people that need new in box figures to complete their collection and you are opening them which makes the price go up on any figures that are left inbox. Now there's one less in the world that is new... just saying!!! Also I'm going to have nightmares tonight after seeing you break that new He-Man in half. Lol 😆

With your creativity I would've thought you would be able to sculpt and/or 3D print any armor or acessories you need rather than break new figures in half just for the armor.
