Great selection. Almost 83, still bopping around the kitchen listening !!
  • I was born in 57 and missed this era of music as a child. Later in my teens, I was introduced to Doo Wop when I saw the movie American Graffiti. I purchased the sound track and was hooked forever. While I enjoy many other genres, there is no better music to dance to especially when it comes to slow dancing. Love the way you mix your songs.Thank you for the dedication.

Born in 80 but somehow i feel nostalgic and almost even homesick for a time I never lived in. The 50s were the best decade and the music is so meaningful. I often joke with my wife that I was born in the wrong time period. Oh well, at least I can pretend it's still 1955.

  • I don't understand why because a song was recorded in more or less the Doo Wop era it has to be considered Doo Wop. For example, I like Del Shannon, but his music was not Doo Wop. Jackie Wilson, maybe my favorite performer of that era, when he was a solo performer, was not Doo Wop. Nor most of the GREAT Chuck Berry's Music, nor most of also great, Little Richard's (though I do have some Doo Wop by him).De Clark, Hey Little Girl, was a great song- I still play it a lot, but I don't consider it Doo Wop
