This phone is a no brainer. Oneplus12 has all the essentials most people would need and then some. Welcome back OnePlus!

I preordered the Flowy Emerald version. The fast charging of OnePlus phones is addictive.

OnePlus doesn't need a super fast shutter because like the Open (which I have) has a "hold shutter down for" burst or video mode. It seems other phone manufacturers have removed that feature. I appreciate that SLR feel.

For me it ticks all the right boxes, good price, great battery, quick charging and bright screen

100 watts included in the box ( i can use my 100 watts anker if i want to) Excellent display ( i prefer curved) Huge battery Clean os Future proof specs Great cameras Much better value than whatever apple or Samsung are doing thats for sure

AI features are so overrated & gimmicky

Finally a worthy upgrade from Oneplus 7 pro

As a Oneplus 9Pro user who was on the verge of switching to an iPhone 15 pro max, I'm seriously contemplating getting the new OP12 instead.

S24 ultra is cool and all, but the OP 12 seems like an epic value for money mobile. Both are close in almost all aspects.

If it's friendly to the eyes of us PWM sensitive I'm prepared to buy it.

5.4Ah was defo the right move consider the type of batteries used. it'll help with the lifespan quite a bit to offset the degradation from fast charging a bit more

One thing you forgot to mention is the return of video out over Type-C 3.2!! It was last available with OP9 Pro after which it was dropped!

With the kind of trading OnePlus is giving I can get this phone 16gb and 512gb, Snapdragon 8 gen 3 for $540 and with these kinds of specs that's one hell of a deal!

I have watched several videos comparing the two phones. I have been a Samsung customer since 2012 and they make the best mobile phones. However, the $500 difference in price for a similar phone which has similar features is drawing my attention to OnePlus. Thanks for your honest review.

This phone is rocking !!! I love the 50 watt wireless charging - I ordered mine right after the keynote - I am excited - get one or be a big square - best phone available !!

I loved on my OnePlus 8 the sidebar option where you could lunch screen translate or Google lens or music player without having to leave the actual app you been using. Its the feature s24 ultra does now by holding the lower screen. It is so convenient on OnePlus though. I moved to Google pixel for the camera mainly, but i regretted how good OnePlus was for everything, especially for the battery and the charging speed. i would get like 20% in 5 minute when i needed. Once you use a fast charging phone, only then you know. Im definitely going back to OnePlus.

Finally a great replacement for my 6T! This is a 5yo+ phone and I've had it in my hands for nearly 5. I feel like the jump from my 6T to the 12 will be absolutely mind blowing

This feels more like a S24+ competitor in my opinion

Great video mate as always - can you report on so many users having issues with their S24 Ultra where the screen is washed out and looks dull.
