Tbh I think this is honestly just one of those songs you have to be there to vibe with, it's a less hype song but I think that makes it a nice parallel to the others, which are festival vibes or pop concert vibes, where this is just more chill and kind of feels more underground and exclusive especially since it's not available to just anyone

I think the new one was trying to go for a more chill vibe. It plays on the first day of the splatfest after all, it’s a little less intense. This version is great too. People were probably expecting a more hyped version of Color pulse, which i understand.

I gotta give credit to this song because it does sound amazing in game during Splatfests however its not as big as a banger as s2's, s2's felt much more pleasing to listen to and jam to but this is more of a chill mood for a day 1 splatfest which does a great job at doing so
