I'm taking a break from stealth camping with a normal camping video this week as I gear up to film a bunch more before I return home. I camped for the night in a S.O.L emergency bivvy link here: (These are just the Canadian links, not sure how to find the US or international links but I will learn how to find that! I don't have an affiliate program yet just sharing the links for some guidance on where to find this stuff!

I also used the folding Coleman camping oven for the meal which can be found here:

  • Hey everyone! I will be scouting some locations starting this evening and will have questionable cell reception. I will try to answer questions and reply to some comments as I’m able. Happy Thursday everyone!
  • Every time I watch one of these videos with "beautiful wife" or "crazy neighbor" I see more of how supportive they were and how much fun you all must have had together. Much love, Steve. Your videos always make my day a little easier.

Don't worry about explaining yourself, every video doesn't have to be a stealth. Most of us are just happy to see you. Keep being yourself and doing what makes you happy, don't try to please everyone, it's impossible and puts unnecessary stress on you.

Steve, I suffer from PTSD with high anxiety. I was having a real stressful day in Lethbridge, Ab. When I watched this, I was able to crack a beer with you, and relax. You made me feel like I was right there with you. Thank you. You have helped me deal with this PTSD, and I will for sure to continue, to watch your videos. Keep up the great work my friend, for this is one of the only few things, to help me though my days.

If only the people around him knew they were camping next to a legend!
  • @robertdaly9162
Only Steve would say that sleeping in a roundabout is more relaxing than a campground. What a legend.

My dear friend, Steve. Little do you know you make peoples day not just with your amazing content, but with your personality. For that, on behalf of me and your other amazing subscribers, we appreciate you. Cheers my friend 🍻

A lil duct tape and that bivy will be as good as new. Those reflective mylar types work better when there's an insulating layer between you and it. So it's not surprising you were better off with a sleeping bag inside the bivy. We don't care what type of camping or where. We're just glad you bring us along! Solid vid, thanks for sharing! Hoisting a Step 2 with ya Steve from Wisco, USA!

The most amazing thing about the bivvy sack is that it actually fits in the package it came from.
  • @eyeonsquatch
Whether you're risking yourself to stealth, or spending a much deserved, anxiety-free night in a campground, we're all just here to camp with Steve. It's neat you exist.
  • @Nick-Matchem
Steve ! Don’t think for a second that any of us are turned off by non stealth vids. Just hanging out and having a couple of step twos and listening to your thoughts is dynamite. Great video brother.
  • I’m here for all of it: the regular camps, the stealthers, the builds, etc. Whatever you want to do, Steve, I support it.
  • i dont even know if he realizes what safe spaces, hideaways, and "family" moments steve has created but i'm more than thankful :)
  • @JustAnotherHo
Ranger is probably like "hey look, someone actually camping in a camp ground" 🤣
  • It's odd Steve thinks a majority of us come here for "stealth" camping. We are here for him.
  • @ezduzit4009
It's hanging out with Steve, and we all need that once a week no matter what the content. Keep up the great work
  • @DerrickGratwohl
I was feeling a little under the weather yesterday and went to bed early, so now I'm watching Steve on a Friday morning. Anyone else get really tempted to crack a step 2 with Steve even if it's not even 10 AM your time?
  • "I will also have my sleeping bag, here [in case it gets too cold]." See, this is 1 of my fave things when Steve tests gear; he always has a fall-back plan for his own safety. Watching other channels where they're like, "I am going into these woods overnight w. an ice storm forecast & only this mylar sheet in my pack!" is so pointlessly stressful. Steve doesn't endanger himself for the sake of survival machismo, & I really respect that.❤
  • I love my camp oven! I cut a piece of ceramic tile to put in the bottom for a heat sink and made an insulating cover out of a carbonized felt welding blanket and nomex thread. The cover massively increased the temp control on the oven and it folds up quite small.

Steve, I'm here for a visit and a catch up with someone who feels like a friend. Doesn't matter if the videos vary from week to week. Watching your videos is like have a relaxing chat and a beverage with a friend.
