Some fun math about the snail: The average garden snail moves about .03mph so if Jason moved from LA to Paris he could live there for over 21 years before the snail would reach him.

If David was in a Marvel movie I could see him playing himself vlogging while the avengers fight in the background. That way he wouldn’t really have to act. Just like a real quick cameo shot.

Just for context, it would take a snail 67 days to travel one mile (if they don’t travel with any help). I would say yes instantly

A garden snail moves at .03 mph according to google. According to Siri from San Francisco to Paris it’s 5577 miles. Assuming the snail can’t hop on any boat or plane since it’s a fucking snail, 5577 miles divided by .03 mph is 185900 hours or 7745 days which is 21.2 years. Give me that 10 mil that snail is never catching me ! Edit: keep in mind this assuming it never rests or stops for a quick bite at doughbrik’s pizza.

The thing is that when you run a typical business, these things are all required by law. State and Federal labor laws, OSHA requirements, and others regulate this in order to avoid issues like this. The issue is that YouTuber’s and social media creators are becoming truly legitimate businesses…but they’re not controlled and regulated like traditional businesses are. Times are changing and you’re just one of the ones at the forefront of the change. You are basically becoming a production company. Hollywood has an INSANE amount of regulations because they’ve been through all of this at some point and had to deal with many lawsuits so they’ve now put the practices in place to ensure that doesn’t happen.

I think something that would be super interesting, insightful & educational would be a "behind the vlogs" series to add to this channel.. You take your favorite videos or notable videos & get the people that were in the vlog to explain the vlog. What was happening, who came up with the ideas/how it happened, where it went wrong/right, etc. It'd be interesting to hear others perspectives & thoughts. From a viewer standpoint, I'd love for you to break down vlogs. I love rewatching them, but going deep. I don't know if that makes sense? But if you could add one of those episodes in addition to your weekly vlogs would be new/fresh take on things we already love! May be dumb.. but, maybe not?❤

I watch these podcasts. I feel like David truly is discovering himself by listening to these. I care what he thinks about and know the conclusions he is coming up with is helping him. Stay happy my dude.
  • David's revelation regarding the vlogs is amazing to hear. This is what takes being a youtuber even further. I mean, look at Mr. Beast. Not only in a business sense is this great, but it shows he's working on himself and maturing. So proud and happy to hear he's reached this point ... Love you guys <3

35:31 — What I think David is saying is "With great power comes great responsibility."

Its good to see David work through things... its not easy to just KNOW. So I'm glad he's learning through examples around him
  • @soloking2141
The problem here is David is doing his best to tel Jeff he gets it now and sees that he messed up. Problem is Jeff won’t let him do that directly. Jeff keeps saying he just wants David to admit fault but the ONLY reason he wants that is to sue him, not for reconciliation. Jeff got screwed over, 100% but he is also putting David in a lose lose lose scenario. This is David’s indirect way to say “I fucked up, it’s on me, I was the guy”. I think most ppl would want to see these dudes forgive eachother and move on.

David, I am glad you have had the time to process things. I want you to know that I always keep you in my prayers. Recovering from depression is not easy. With time, I know you will emerge more fulfilled, creative and happy.
